I mean he has improved some yes but when it comes to movement, he will deny or deflect or pull some weird quote from his book.
Like the Winifred video, in the server someone actively mentioned how her walk cycle just felt to brisk or floaty. And he just brushes it off saying it's because he didn't bother animating the feet and it's because she small. Okay? Even so, she needs to have some form of weight to her stride. Her body is built a certain that should make that visible. Her legs don't even move like a pair digitgrade legs should move. Watch animal videos do, birds, dinosaurs, something to get a damn idea.
Fennah could actually be good at stuff if he would fucking listen!
He's even still butt hurt over the reviewer. I think he still makes these, passive aggressive jabs at her every now and again when talking about his book.
Edit: I want to also add, on the thought of worldbuilding, I saw somewhere in discord he was talking about clothing lore, and it was just "This would be more humiliating if Lucy was bent in this outfit"
And it makes me want to slam my head into a wall on how no one saw that as clear fetish blabble. But, whatever I guess.
The new Winifred animation really annoyed me. All his animations now are just low-effort advertisement for the book. Seriously Fennah, if you don't bother animating shit then why should I bother watching it let alone read the book? 70% nothing happens in the Winifred animation besides her standing around. If something does happen, it's scarce movement.
Walk cycle, as mentoined, is horrendous. You can even see the frame where it clicks back into the loop. The backgrounds are bland, and you have to watch it for 1/3 of the video.
If you don't want to put in the effort, don't do it at all.
If even the discord points it out, then shit is bad. He said himself that he doesn't like animating as much as writing, and that writing sells no matter the visuals. Cool, but... if the visuals are ugly or boring as fuck then nobody wants to watch it either. The reason people checked out Satellite City is because they were interested in what they
saw. The characters and goofing around story pulled them in further, but that was after the visuals.
I wouldn't be interested at all in checking out the book after seeing the Winifred animation. The Bernadette and Roxanne animation? Yes, those were interesting and well done (it's one self taught guy with Blender, I will give him much credit for that).
I just remember there was also that Ludwig animation... I forgot about it completely (which is not a good sign). It had also a lot of recycled stuff because Fennah loves to do that now, taking out clips from his other animations and reusing the same ones over and over and over again. I honestly don't think that he doesn't want to listen, he just literally doesn't care. He talks about corporations and their soulless stuff, but puts out half-baked animations himself.
And yep, still butthurt over that one reviewer... constantly talks he doesn't let it get to himself but then rants every week about how stupid that reviewer is.
And whatever this... lore exposition is...
He will say he is not a furry, then puts out the most furry design ever of Lucy for book 2. He will say this is not a fetish, but cannot stop talking about humilation and contortion of headless furry bodies.

No kink shaming man, I've seen enough of the internet, but trying to sell it off as sci-fi creativity and a logical-worldbuilding writing choice certainly deserves being called out. Especially in a server where there are many minors, and these images (like the Lucy porn ones and Harlow contortion positions) and "lore expositions" being publicly posted in the general channels. SC should be age restricted as well in my opinion, but a guy who gets angry that he can't show nudity on youtube isn't up for debate. "Artistic Nudity" as he calls it. Sure, sure buddy. This "it isn't a fetish" and etc. is exactly why Kiwifarms is still going on about you. We are fed by your hypocrisy and narcissism. I would say your lack of self-awareness too, but I think you are very aware of what you do, you are just too arrogant to admit anything ever, even to yourself.
