ContraPoints / William Nicholas Parrott / Natalie Wynn Parrott / Nykytyne2 - GamerGhazi Cannibalism Victim, Youtube "Intellectual"

At 35:10 and 2:07:52 he projects how he "researched" his video. He made a Twitter account and doom scrolled.

Navigating conspiracy theorists is hard. There exists good information out there, but it gets heavily suppressed. Rarely by censorship, sometimes by shadowbanning, but mostly by the sheer noise of all the con artists surrounding it. Some of them are grifters telling their audience what they want to hear for money, others are plants to discredit the rest of the movement, and then there's honest people that have been misled by the plants and spout their bullshit while believing it themselves.

InfoWars is a great example of controlled opposition. Bill Cooper had beef with Alex Jones back in the day because InfoWars would constantly report rumor as fact. Then, any time the MSM wants to attack truthers, they simply aim everyone's attention at the plants. The MSM and deboonktubers will never talk about people like Vigilant Citizen, A Call For An Uprising, Truthstream Media, or reallygraceful despite their sizable followings. Instead, let's cover David Icke and Russell Brand for the thousandth time. Those former 4 have denounced QAnon since the beginning and don't see the world power structure like an amateur pyramid diagram with "someone" at the top like he claims at 54:15. Very unfit for the straw man he needs. It has to be short, quippy and easy to respond to, which is why 80% of the video is responding to tweets.

Going in, I expected Hontra to cherry pick low-hanging fruit to make truthers look like low effort retards and amplify the noise. He did. When he got to the moon landing, it got especially brazen. At 29:12, he comments on the astronaut body language thing with "idk, maybe they were tired after flying to the moon?" even though they were placed in quarantine for a few weeks of isolation after "returning from the moon" before coming back out for the press conference.

American Moon covers it at 3:24:02. Notice how this is covered near the end because reading body language is some of the weakest vibe-based type of evidence. Excellent documentary in general, it doesn't waste time, it's fairly complete and also deboonks some falsehoods that are often cited as evidence. It doesn't mention many astronauts being Freemasons but I guess that was beyond its scope. It would've been nice if Hontra responded to a high effort documentary like this instead of random youtube comments on a subject that's obviously been discussed to death, but then he would've come across a better argument and that's harrrd ;_;

At 46:56 he brings up the Bavarian Illuminati, the letter to Washington about it, and John Robison's book. Then he dismisses it outright, even though it caused the Bavarian government to outlaw Freemasonry and secret societies like it, which is in the first paragraph of the damn wikipedia article. It seems to me like George Washington took it seriously:

It was not my intention to doubt that, the Doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more truly satisfied of this fact than I am.

The idea that I meant to convey, was, that I did not believe that the Lodges of Free Masons in this Country had, as Societies, endeavoured to propagate the diabolical tenets of the first, or pernicious principles of the latter (if they are susceptible of seperation). That Individuals of them may have done it, or that the founder, or instrument employed to found, the Democratic Societies in the United States, may have had these objects; and actually had a seperation of the People from their Government in view, is too evident to be questioned.

My occupations are such, that but little leisure is allowed me to read News Papers, or Books of any kind; the reading of letters, and preparing answers, absorb much of my time. With respect, etc.

At 1:19:07 he shows a random baseless tweet that says the statue of liberty is Lucifer. OK, but did you know that the statue of liberty was donated to the US by French Freemasons, and so it might have something to do with their religion?

He devotes a section to the "satanic panic" but no Ted Gunderson and the McMartin pre-school trial, no Franklin Cover-Up, no Finders Cult, no mention of Aleister Crowley's writings, no mention of convicted satanic cults to at least show it can exist. 0/10 effort.

I was pleasantly surprised he showed None Dare Call It Conspiracy and Behold a Pale Horse, actual books by honest researchers instead of online schizoposting or engagement bait. Even if it was only to use one or two sensational quotes to craft his narrative.

I don't like Behold a Pale Horse itself that much. A lot of it is pretty random and it doesn't do a great job sketching the big picture. I like the second chapter, it's a decent overview of secret societies, but it doesn't tell you which information comes from where. The bibliography at the chapter's end is a gold mine though, especially my niggas Ralph Epperson and Antony Sutton (who do use proper citations). Bill Cooper was much better on his radio show, where he read books by other conspiracy researchers or old Masonic literature and responded to callers. May he rest in peace.

The conspiracist psychoanalysis was fairly well done if he's analyzing doom scrolling junkies with low discernment, because that's how he behaved for a year. Not very applicable to genuine truth seekers. But hey, at least he watched Loose Change I guess?

In the intro, he asks: "Why are they so obsessed with symbols and rituals?" It's because the occult religion of the elite is, and they flaunt their symbols and culture everywhere like they're niggers throwing up gang signs.

Also this must've been said 100 times already but he's painfully unfunny. 1:57:07 is the only joke that kinda works. Almost every "joke" is just him being a creepy weirdo. I do appreciate how the music sounds better at 2x speed, makes me feel so understood.

Blaire White just released a new video and the timing here is killing me

they are (somehow.) real moving people that turn to face the camera at one point
I'm pretty sure it's a clever compositing job. If you look carefully, none of the moving figures overlap
composit1.jpg
One of the giveaways is what seems to be a blend mask on the figure on the left
composit2.jpg
See how there's sort of a gradient on the edge of the shadow? That looks like something that's been blended in.
Where individuals do overlap they don't move. Directly behind the figure in red is completely still, and also doesn't actually appear to be holding the "candle" (that one might be an LED bulb, it's hard to tell with the starburst filter - but it never flickers)
composit3.jpg
Likewise I'm pretty sure the figure on the stairs crouched nearer the camera is simply holding two candles, and the one behind it is stock still and not facing the camera.
composit5.jpg
There's some other tricks - carefully constructing the shot, making it darker to hide imperfections and then slowly applying a zoom with some misdirection (the figure in red sways a lot to distract you from the one behind it not moving, one of the other figures makes their candle flicker a lot so you don't notice some aren't flickering). Obviously if there's a later shot where they move around I may be wrong but based on this, I'm 90% sure this is Contra playing dress up with a mannequin.

Oh somebody beat me to a video summary, guess I'll give my two cents.

Contra fails to mention that a lot of conspiracy theory is based on actual fact. He sorta mislabels it as based on actual feeling with the foolish socialists label when it's closer to exaggeration of fact. And a lot more are predictive and ahead of the curve type conspiracy. The schizo stuff can be rejected immediately but the more rational conspiracy theories have a higher chance of being true due to "converging interests". For example, Covid might've been an accident but the response to it from governments was not, it gave them a reason to test and try a lot of stupid shit which they manufactured consent for. It was literally the same thing bush did with 9/11 and iraq.

Some of his facts are wrong. Stalinist hangings of Jews was on suspect of them being israeli spies or zionists since the Soviet union was very anti Israel, seeing it as a western project. It was not because they were rootless. Israel was also treated as an American military asset against the Arab countries who were funded by the soviets, before the islamic ethnonationalists fought them off. It was a proxy battle between the US and the soviets.

Hes also very peculiarly and conveniently targetting the more religious schizos. There are a lot of tankies who think the cia was responsible for every single socialist country to collapse and the cia brainwashes the anglosphere to reject socialism, not you know starvation death blockades whatever. There are a lot of socialists who are 9/11 truthers and believe it was staged in order to manufacture consent for Iraq, I believe Aaron macgruder is one of them. Very partisan reading of conspiracy theories as a whole.

The antisemitism section also misrepresented a bunch of stuff. Most rational antisemitism boils down to discussions of things like ethnocentrism, Israel and relation to the pillars of western governments (finance, media, military etc), debanking as a concept in general, whole bunch of other stuff. The idea that jews lack institutional control is just untrue, on a percapita scale or even an average scale, they hold more coordinated control of finances and media institutions. The early life check validates this to a large degree. This does not mean every jew is at fault or inherently untrustworthy, just on an ethnic scale they're at the top of the food chain and they've fortified their position so to speak, especially the ashkenazim due to their closer ties to european ancestry. Hontra also fails to mention Marxist antisemitism where the Jews are treated as the international bourgeoisie, something which Hitler later coopted and a lot of Soviet marxists did as well. Marx himself says the jew worships money and his culture needs to be destroyed so he can be emancipated from societal bonds.

I could nitpick more but I don't want to. It's overall an okay video, 5/10. Lot of omissions and misrepresentations, some people can be rational and form conspiracy theories which later end up true. It's just called being ahead of the curve. I will agree with the part of having an unvalidated subjective persecution complex being really cringe. Also this is the video through which I learnt Naomi wolf being cuckoo, I only knew her as one of the panelists in the feminism discussion on charlie rose back in the 90s, with Christopher hitchens. She came off very well spoken and knowledgeable there, it's a shame.

Listen mang, the universe contains chaos. There's no secret meetings to advance a concerted effort to keep you down. You just don't have rich parents People who did get to do whatever they want, and we don't. It's not a conspiracy. There's no hidden truth. Watch that South Park episode about sex addiction.

@AssignedEva HAHA god he's such a fucking loser with no friends

The whole conspiracy issue really isn't worth such a long video. Obviously some conspiracies are real, contrapoints admits as much. But yes there's a lot of schizo bullshit too.

I think it would have been more interesting if she tried to go into full deboonking mode. Anyone who honestly looks at things like the Dutroux case has to admit there are suspicious facts about that which point to involvement of higher ups.

I'm not going to touch that bullshit with a 6 foot pole.
Yeah, I had this retard pop in on my recommends, because conspiracy and thought to give it a whirl, laugh and post it on the side show thread, but holy fuck, in the first minutes I felt agony and stopped watching, recognized the fucker and that he has a thread on here, so I searched and you guys already did the needful.

Wait, he didn't look like this originally?
:story:
He paid a butcher for that asmongold face?

What happened to that huge website with all the receipts and explanations and the horrible dog rape photo? I thought it was by now common knowledge that with Michel Nihoul dead it's unlikely anyone will be able to uncover the trail any further. Obviously hope for the best but it's going to be extremely difficult. Even though anyone with eyes can see that Dutroux was a small fish at the bottom of a very large organization.

Dutch tv did two good documentaries about the Dutroux case at the time which highlighted some facts about the case which were swept under the carpet. Corrobarating some of the things said by Regina Louf. They are still on youtube but in Dutch:
