I'm kind of worried about how much you rely on Google AI for your "research" and forming your facts and opinions.
dawg im let you in on my nihilistic secret, despite trumps advances there is LOTS of people who still think its ok to decide what gender you are on the fly

we are quite a ways away from "peer revived sources" being read.

ask for the truth you get the lie, you dig and find what you find to be the real truth most people will respond to you "the front of google says this and I havent heard otherwise from the 3 major news networks"

best comparison I can give you is this, after Alexander and his army had been marching days with dwindling to no supplies they came upon a miraculous well in the desert but it only bubbled a tiny bit at a time.
Alexanders captains rushed to fill a helmet with the water and offer it to the parched young general to drink first. Upon receiving the helmet of water he stopped and considered his thirsty men, after due thought he stood up and marched to a small hill near him so his vast army could better see their general dump the water into the sands proclaiming "A split helmet by me shall feel as a full drink to every man here".

If it dosent make sense why he did that, thats my point. Sometimes when your dealing with illogical or "sucky" circumstances the best thing you can do is embrace it until such circumstances change.

I got a little puffy hearing America slander from a possible europoor so I googled what the EU literacy rate is and it made me even more heated
No, sorry for the misunderstanding, I'm American. The innumeracy jab was a reference to that recent thing where Harvard said they're getting students who can't even do algebra. So yeah American kids can't read or do math.

> complains about literacy rates
> gets mildly called out on info sourcing
> doubles down on dumbing down

I don't get it.

I think his point is getting data from the same place everyone else does can be helpful. "I saw it on KF" means it's a conspiracy theory to many. "Google AI told me" is, like it or not, what many many would consider fact.

So if you can get the facts from such a trusted source normies will be more likely to actually accept what it says.

Who actually does algebra in their adult life.
Engineers, accountants, tax people, programmers, throw a dart at a STEM job. But is that really the point? I said the kids can't even do it. We're talking basic abstraction and balancing equations here. Honestly pathetic to even be in high school and not understand algebra at an intuitive level, but these zoomers are hitting the Ivy League illiterate and innumerate.

first of all, I wanna let ya know I appreciate you adding more nuance and context.
I never claimed my info was the authoritative take or "fact" but just info I stumbled upon on that google seems to wanna corroborate, when your write your peer revied paper on the issue ill happily put it into chat GPT for its bullet points

Im just that kinda retard

>Trump orders declassification of investigation to prove Trump rigged the election
I can't wait to watch some bleeding heart robe jockey twist themselves into a pretzel trying to argue why Trump having himself declassified is a bad thing and we shouldn't look at it or notice things and that he seriously rigged it guys trust me bro.
There's no U in color and ya know what? there's no U in America either so go smoke a fag
United States of America. Beans on toast isn't a real food.

gosh dang good buddy, you aint in the 21% cause you read that LIKE A BOOK

Genuinely takes great critical thinking skills to extract that more or less exact meaning out of such a rambling history metaphor especially one written by a very "special" poster like myself, well done.

we live in the "age of the death of truth", if you wanna make a point to the normies you have to speak their language and use their "system"

Chances are these models are trained off the data he's seeking anyway, it's more just a question of if the AI is accurately reporting the information or not. AI is not intelligent, it's just really good at guessing. You could ask it the same question with a set numerical answer 10 times and get a different answer each time.

It's that kind of thinking that was used to destroy the interest in education.

You had people "OH, WHEN WILL I USE DEEZ HERE NUMBAHS IN ANYTING???"

Now they whine they were never taught to balance a checkbook.
(They were, they were just daydreaming in class and missed addition and subtraction)
They whine they weren't taught about compound interest.
(They were, they were daydreaming in class and missed that section)
They whine they weren't taught how to do their taxes!
(They were. For 1040EZ only requires basic math)
They whine they weren't taught about history.,
(They were, they were just sleeping when stuff was covered)

After DECADES of lambasting and mocking education and knowledge, suddenly it matters?

no, fuck off.

Sometimes when the new administration does a thing, instead of just thinking "based!", I worry about what the other side will do with this new power once they're back in office.
Yeah, like they might just let a bunch of people die during a natural disaster, or create a program to cram criminal aliens into red states by the thousands, or airdrop so many Haitians into a working class community as to make it unlivable, or start working on laws so perverts can troon out your kids.
