It's that kind of thinking that was used to destroy the interest in education.

You had people "OH, WHEN WILL I USE DEEZ HERE NUMBAHS IN ANYTING???"

Now they whine they were never taught to balance a checkbook.
(They were, they were just daydreaming in class and missed addition and subtraction)
They whine they weren't taught about compound interest.
(They were, they were daydreaming in class and missed that section)
They whine they weren't taught how to do their taxes!
(They were. For 1040EZ only requires basic math)
They whine they weren't taught about history.,
(They were, they were just sleeping when stuff was covered)

After DECADES of lambasting and mocking education and knowledge, suddenly it matters?

no, fuck off.
Clearly the solution to this issue is to make numbers and math mystical again.

This may or may not require the creation of a cult, rituals and esotericism.

Yeah, like they might just let a bunch of people die during a natural disaster, or create a program to cram criminal aliens into red states by the thousands, or airdrop so many Haitians into a working class community as to make it unlivable, or start working on laws so perverts can troon out your kids.
Ah that classic "we would make them very very angry if we did that so we should lie down and do nothing at all!" argument that led to the flourishing of so many sanctuary cities. I remember seeing that funny line played out in defense of the cartel's operations within America.

Doing taxes requires an understanding of government retardation that goes beyond pure algebra. Granted, it would be a waste of time to teach that understanding to niggers, but if you want to keep society rolling, people need to know what their government is doing (poorly) and why it is doing things (poorly).

Doing your taxes requires putting numbers from one form onto another form, filling out the blanks, adding up columns as specified, and turning it in on time. It's like doing 5th grade math homework. That's why niggers can't do it.

United States of America. Beans on toast isn't a real food.
When I was little, my aunt used to mock us any time we didn’t want to eat her disgusting cooking with “what are you going to eat then? Beans on toast?” And the mere idea of it was so revolting that we’d eat her awful cooking. It wasn’t until I was well into my 20’s that I learned that beans on toast is an actual thing people in an allegedly civilized country eat.
Yes, beans on toast was my childhood version of “they’re starving in China.” I’ll never understand how anyone can stomach that

To wit, the French being anything more than a bankroller during the American Revolution is a stretch.
To be fair the naval force that the French brought to the battle of Yorktown outnumbered the Royal Navy and drove them off, but the only reason Washington stopped besieging Manhattan and sneakily marched down to Yorktown was because the French told him in August "We're leaving at the end of October, good luck after that". So by being French they accidentally made Washington pick the right battle. Then the French went bankrupt and heads started to roll.

Also the French and American artillerymen at Yorktown got into a competition to see who could fire the fastest and most accurately and that's kind of fun.

(don't tell the commies but I will destroy a Full English breakfast, even if they spell like ingrates)
Our secret.

Did it look something like this?

How menacing.

gosh dang good buddy, you aint in the 21% cause you read that LIKE A BOOK

Genuinely takes great critical thinking skills to extract that more or less exact meaning out of such a rambling history metaphor especially one written by a very "special" poster like myself, well done.

we live in the "age of the death of truth", if you wanna make a point to the normies you have to speak their language and use their "system"
I learned quite a bit on YouTube about how to budget, invest and how finance works. Same can be said about TiKTok just in smaller clips and bits of info. Obviously when it comes to finance you should get a multitude of opinions.

Gen Z might be smarter than I thought.

Killing the tax prep and financial advice "industries" would be a service to all.

This. It literally only hard if you’re trying to find a loophole of some sort to get a tax break.

It also baffles me how some people wait until the last moment to file. I have always filed my taxes the moment I’m allowed to. I get it out of the way, and I get my return super early. Why procrastinate on something the government enforces so heavily?

Apparently the popularity of it comes from a marketing push and the fact that beans were not rationed like other food items were during World War 2. Say whatever you want about the food but it seems like a culturally "acquired taste" so to speak.
Interesting, but I still wonder about that. My great grandma grew up through the depression and WW2 and she used to keep a can of Spam in her pantry at all times. Never to eat. It was just there to remind her of the trauma of having to eat it through that time. The one time I asked her about it she retold the story of what it was like to eat spam and actually cried. I’ve never touched spam as a result

Yes, unironically. One thing that the Britbongs do have going for them in terms of taxation (and we know they love taxes) is that they don't have to go through a bullshit yearly ritual for an alphabet agency that already possesses all of the information you're giving back to them through tax management middlemen. The way they file over there is a lot simpler than what we do over here.

If you're not a total retard you'll just use one of the sites the IRS recommends to avoid fees, a lot of people don't, and it's all for the sake of telling them what they already know or getting fined and jailed.

Where do you all get your news? Feels like nowhere is safe. At least in USPG you can get a feel for the people behind the posts.
This thread is genuinely the only place I trust. Most of the major news headlines show up here way before the MSM picks it up and if something untrustworthy gets posted here it gets called out
