Given that Elon just tried to publicly to dogpile the easy target that is Ubisoft and somehow ended up on the bottom I'm going to wager most tears being shed by Libs currently are those of mirth and not those of hurt feelings.

And can we just be real for a fucking second? I repulse at the idea of enjoying "libshit" tears because that concept went mainstream and Elon (and others) took that concept and made it as funny and enjoyable as Big Bang Theory without a laugh track. The reason it was funny to mock these people was because they were doing stupid things, were woefully lacking in self awareness and they didn't know how to handle being made fun of. I am not making fun of Elon because he's a "Conservitard" or a "Nazi" and I am not "punching up". I am making fun of him because he annoys me (always did), is currently an easy target to make fun of and I find it funny. There is no political animus or motivation behind it. The idiot put himself out there, like a toddler before a pack of pitbulls, and is trying to cope with the consequences of doing that by hiding behind the excuse of partinsan politics. The more we pretend that it is about "upsetting the otherside" the more we strengthen that as an excuse to let people off the hook for being fools.

This is, at its heart, a mob enjoying bullying a very public autistic, lets just enjoy it on those terms alone.

We've got people committing terror acts and ruining their entire lives to get back at him now. Hate him all you want, he has perfected the art of doing nothing and making everyone around him shit their pants daily, with DSP being at a close second place. I lost count how many people in the game industry alone already seethed at him on a professional level to the point where it hurt their careers(ie Avowed's art director), let alone other people who cannot stop talking about him on daily bases
