I got suggested a compilation of streamers reactions to different parts of the game, it's really funny to watch that for a bit and compare how he plays the game. He really only likes the dice rolls, and he thought the racist guy was a little funny. Other than that it's just his normal :-[ face for an hour

Disco Elysium is a very dialogue heavy game, where the actual gameplay is not really important at all compared to the story. I enjoyed the game a lot, but it was such a bad choice for Phil to play. It just showcased how dumb he is and his lack of anything insightful or interesting to say. He is such an empty husk of a person, he has no real opinions or political views to talk about or share, and just mimics the soundbites he hears from others.

He's only scratched the surface of things that will be highly upsetting. At one point he will likely discover that his partner is gay, and handle it in the most uncomfortable way possible. There is also a woman who admits to enjoying rough sex involving suggestions of consensual non-consent. There is also a LOT of material about how pathetic it is to be an alcoholic that might trigger the shit out of him.

Of course, this mostly wont matter because he doesn't pay any attention to the game at all.

If they had derish as the 3rd wheel I would actually watch this as a series. It could actually work as a series if they did edited videos because its such a fucking bizarre match up that it might generate interest.

And no I wouldn't want to watch it livestreamed. I would want like a proper production team to film them with multiple cameras and edit episodes as they go. Livestreaming ruins everything.

Start it off with a 30 minute documentary of each of their lives by acclaimed documentarian Mike Cum and it would actually be interesting to watch these two goofy fuckers try and get along in a minivan or some shit. If this guy had to deal with actual Italian culture he would kill himself. Their food alone is so different than the Americanized slop that it may as well be vegan food. I haven't really watched any TIHYDP from any recent stuff, but I'm just trying to think what the last good one really was. He was awful at Elden Ring early on before he started reading guides in his discord to cheese it, but besides that the most recent one I can remember thinking was good was RE2 Remake. He was horrific at that game in a way I have never seen. He died in the first room to the first zombie and said Capcom wanted you to die early ack ack ack.

Just to point out, the reason Phil actually does this as opposed to having it done automatically is almost certainly to allow himself some level of control over it (i.e. allows him to do things like round down the amount given, not post a name that is a detractor meme, etc.)

I really enjoyed KingDDDuke's Lost Judgement TIHYDP. There was another TIHYDP where he'd use young Phil (beardless fat) to comment on older Phil's actions.
But then again this "thing" hasn't been about the gameplay in so many years. And of course, we all know its not the games but the slimeball playing the games being a boring fuck. So no offense to the people who make those vids but its just so boring.
