I’ll be honest, as a person who doesn’t keep up with fishtank and has followed Sam Hyde for over 10 years, I don’t think Brandon was a mistake. Since Sam did the twitter poll, I think he wanted to keep Brandon in the house to fuck for at least a few days and probably weaponize Burt against him, as Sam would believe that Burt is seen as untouchable to faggy celebrity wannabes given how he’s a neurospecial gay black man- but Sam realized that wasn’t going to happen without him or production doing something illicit themselves. He’s already talked about the predator hunter video almost getting him and Frank in trouble.

After the last video I went back to fishtank clips out of curiosity, and Luke kind of reminded me of idubbbz in the documentary. All huge grins and laughing at everything Sam says, seeming to believe that everything is a bit [?], except the circumstances are totally different so Sam buys it. I think Luke might be the first MDE fan that has made Sam feel good about himself. It might be good for him to have someone around who he doesn’t want to disappoint, it might end poorly if Sam doesn’t live up his expectations.
I think adopting fishtank contestants is an odd habit but it hasn’t been long enough for us to see whether or not it’s a detrimental one. I also don’t really know what Luke’s job is, he looks to be an illustrator, but Sam had him film for the latest episode and he clearly has no skillset there.

Just because I think Brandon was probably Sam’s scheme doesn’t mean I don’t think Jets a tard. The nuMDE wiggers had 1 universal trait among them, and that was how much they didn’t care about anything. Like it’s a virtue. By contrast, everything MDE put out was trying to make some point about something, and Sam was the one who did public stunts in order to make some “point” at everyone else’s expense. I seriously doubt Jet cares about anything that way. Additionally, even if the casting was by random chance, they must at least google the names before bringing them into the house: how else could they screen for fans?

But regardless this makes me wonder has sam been able to improve his image in the mainstream public? Also when did he "genuinely denied being anti semitic"? He's become increasingly popular amongst zoomers in recent years. He still keeps pulling stunts for mainstream attention, To me it seems that he's gonna capitalize on the clueless cuckservative NPCs as much as he can , Since trumps resurgence maybe MDE now might be able to do more transgressive stuff as long as they don't ruffle any feathers with the trump people which he probably won't.
(also the reason why I asked about anti-semitism was because that was always the biggest accusation thrown at him for the long time, his show also got cancelled because of that very accusation, at least we can assume it was.)

Caught a PGL clip on YT yesterday, fucking hard to watch. Hyde phones it in a hard to watch way. Almost a minute of silence as they watch some stupid vid. Anyone else ever see Sam live? Got to see him Nick and Charls do standup recently and it was alright.

Didn't catch the name of the opener, but I assume he's a friend of Sam. His bit was dressing up as a tranny and taking the piss out of women comedians. There were a few chuckles, but it was mostly abortion jokes, pitbulls eating aborted babies, and just generally shock gross out bits. Not bad but not really great either.

Charls was up next and unfortunately it wasn't much better. His whole bit was about flying to Epstein Island and fucking Steven Hawking, mixed in with classic Charls schizo rants about not believing history or false science. Like I get it, he had some good energy and was enjoying himself, but it was the kind of set where you chuckle along because the vibes are good. For most people a set like that just comes off as some edgy internet humor from 10 years ago.

Nick had the most normal set of the night. There's a crazy juxtaposition between Charls' unrelatable and incomprehensible schizoid spiel and Nick actually doing crowd work. Most of Nick's set was doing impressions, heckling the front row, and a few bits of terrible advice. Very solid, most normal set of the night.

Sam's set was pretty good overall. I can see why he doesn't put his standup online, he would never beat the racist allegations. Lots of good bits, mostly set ups for hard R's, shitting on jeets, and of course tiny hat tribe. The first half of his set was interesting. He explained that he had an online friend he used to play Counter Strike with, who ended up losing the lower half of his body in a motorcycle accident when he was rear-ended by a methed out truck driver. Sam genuinely seemed to get a little worked up over it, shat on some atheists in the crowd, and had a wholesome message about appreciating every day we have on this earth. Naturally this led into "Close your eyes... Imagine waking up disabled... or worse, you wake up Indian." The remaining 30 minutes that followed were spent shitting on jeets and VIOLENT BLACK gentlemen.

All in all it was an interesting show, but I don't think the MDE crew are all suited for standup. It's also not the kind of show for anyone but MDE fans, I can't imagine many people just coming off the street and enjoying it.

Because it's an active tour and he doesn't want to spoil the material. Neither Charles or Nick have released their live sets either. Alex Schulz has released two sets but every time he releases one he comes up with an entirely new character.

Alex really is the odd man out, he's made more material for these tours than the rest of them put together. between the robot, rapper, redditor, nerd, incel, and woman he's made an entire one man show full of comedians vs the most "off the top of my head" style comedy of nick or charles.

Also Sam clearly let/had Kurt Metzger or other joke writers "punch up" his material.
