You have to have a government. You have to fund that government somehow.
If you got rid of taxation then you'll have to contend with increased inflationary pressure. The government doesn't stop spending money just because you shut the tax spigot off. The role taxes serve isn't to fund the government at all actually as the government can fund itself with or without taxing you. The role of taxation is to control inflation.

It's spread like a virus despite it adding fucking nothing to the discussion and the people in question probably put up the article within an hour of sending the email, or more likely mere minutes. It's baiting off the 'did not respond to a request for comment' thing that shows the subject in question is dodging the media but this instead shows absolutely nothing about the character of those involved BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T GIVE THEM TIME TO NOT RESPOND.
