If you’re trying to make a race argument, pick a different program.

Good point but it's still engaging with an emotional appeal far downstream of the actual considerations that should be made in regards to such programs in the first place which is giving fuel to this lying buffoon.
To expound, I guess, since I probably should:
Cutting benefits would still benefit whites overall as they outcompete in their economic brackets every other racial cohort. Whites on bennies having to get their shit together would... possibly fix some social issues and might lead to racialization in the face of a notable lack of alternatives for them as opposed to ready alternatives to benefits programs for non-whites.
Whites who benefit from lower taxes and are productive would have a slight bump in their quality of living and might lead to more productive couples deciding it's worth it to procreate. If nothing else it would help the general morale to know that at least one avenue of wealth transfer from the productive white population to mostly unproductive non-white populations has been cut off and by a Republican president at that.
All of this of course depending on the actual offset of taxes assuming Trump doesn't let them sign another massive spending bill... and that it'd end up with lower taxation rates... other factors really.
But the main one is that unproductive whites would have further incentive to racialize and collectively get their shit together, and given the economic invariance of whites outcompeting their racial competition it'd still be more beneficial even if the tax rates were not lowered for productive whites as a result.
