• Aaron and Kayla attempted a mall trip with the kids, but a fight with Nick meant Kayla couldn't go, so Aaron and two kids from each household went.

I believe he's used this argument as "proof" it was a false positive (i.e. the test results were so high, she'd be dead. Or the test results were so he, she would have been snorting 10 lines a day.)

The reality is the data and tables that relate metabolite levels in hair to drug use are based on adult drug users. There isn't a large number of 9 y/os with coke habits to make a table.

The study I did see is that the levels the daughter had was consistent with children of drug addicts where exposure was incidental/environmental. Just living in the house with Nick and Kayla is enough to believe the result. The result was a normal level in these victims.

Also, Nick keeps framing the kids drug test as somehow about him. The drug test was likely in the context of the state providing medical care for the kids in their custody. Here's how to make benzoylecgonine. Don't try this at home.
