Wendigoon Thread

Does anyone know how tall Wendigoon is? I saw a picture of him with his wife and she might be taller than he is. Not sure if he's short or if the meme about him liking seven foot tall goth girls is real. If it wasn't for the Jacobi story I wouldn't bring it up lol

I think I remember him saying he was 6'1-6'2 and his wife is 6'3, though I can't recall where.

Holy shit that ending lmao. Story was fine up to that point, no way in hell the movie keeps that ending

I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it, it definitely got a reaction out of me whether good or bad

If the movie gets a positive response I think I'll actually watch it. If the ending happens somewhere in the first 1/3 to 1/2 of the movie and they build off of it I think there's definitely some potential as a solid horror film. As it is it could be an ok short film.

The author must be a big fan of true crime cause this definitely reads like one of those stories: 17-year-old Makayla lives the perfect life until one night, just before her big birthday bash, she leaves home and is never heard from again...until 12 years later when they find her body under the gazebo and turns out the father did it and has been lying to everyone this whole time. You can practically see the nexpo video on it.

Really the biggest problem is the climax. The story spends so long building up the act, and for that all we get is a tense reunion before suddenly the narrator and the brother are running in the field while being shot at, and just as quickly the conflict resolves itself and the story's over. The dad's motivation makes no sense in the original story. So he's so worried about being found out about the original murder he's decided to kill his entire family (and himself, probably) then and there? You'd wish there was more beyond that.

The addition was a funny morbid twist. Really, if you tighten up the pacing you'll have a fun little joke story akin to Return to Sender.

I haven't finished yet but Israel has come up. The page about the jews having JFK offed that I've seen going around was apparently just speculation from a random(ish) Egyptian guy the CIA was monitoring, rather than anything concrete or even just based on any actual, tangible evidence. The Egyptian guy wasn't considered to be of interest in the assassination in any way. A lot of the files aren't directly related to the JFK assassination investigation which is the case with this particular entry, it's (allegedly) literally everything that the CIA had where JFK was brought up in any regard

May or may not be more further into the video, will edit if I get a chance to finish the video tonight, I'm assuming not since he moved on to other topics after that and I assume he would have bundled all the jew-sperging together

I counted one "they're gonna get me joke" and it was at the end of the video.

It actually was a good video as a sort of primer.
