To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand DarkSydePhil. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of video game physics, most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Phil's ethical outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from early Christian literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike DarkSydePhil truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Phil's existencial catchphrase "Look at that? See that?" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Phil Burnell's genius unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a DSP tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

That actually does sound like something Phil would do. Buy an animal that lives damn near 20 years just to spite the detractors. I've been felted guys.

Do people try to flip a middle-unit condo?
Not that it matters anyways. Phil is never giving up the snort fort unless he's getting his parent's house in their will. Even then he'd probably still stay and just let his parent's house rot until the bank takes it like his first condo.

Schedule 1 is an extremely fun game, but it's grindy and the games in Early Access, lacking yellow paint and expecting you to figure out a bunch of stuff on your own (Like deleting items, money laundering, and advanced growing). Phil will probably have fun for an hour or two, but I expect his streams to just be him picking up trash and recycling it.

Yeah, I think most flippers focus on houses since they’re a better investment/more desirable than a condo and you don’t have to fuck around with an HOA to buy/renovate.

To your point about his never selling, if refinancing is the goal, he’d still need to start with the bathrooms. It’s wild to even write a sentence like this.

From KC’s perspective, they’ve struck gold. IDubbbz’s been getting stale and RTU is pretty much dead content-wise. They needed something to fill in the gap, and Phil’s been delivering in spades.

They don’t even need to edit stuff and look for pearls, detractor channels already do the job for them.
