All my younger siblings and cousins go to me for tech shit problems.
Part of the competency crisis, but I can't fault the left for this one.

Later Gen-Z grew up when someone else solved all their problems and put them into a nice little app or interface. They don't know how to solve anything on a computer that requires something beyond a button in an application. They don't know how operating systems work and technical solutions because they never had experienced it growing up. No skills to manually uninstall a virus and then repair the mainframe because they are relatively rare on smartphones and apple devices. This is my broad observation over the years.

Zoomers use ChatGPT, AI models and tiktok now more than google as a search engine. The reason for this is, google results are now all ads, Quora posts and reddit links. They use AI to bypass all the crap and get straight to the answer. There are going to be negative implications and behaviors from this but I have yet to see them beyond lack of knowledge. Gen-z has also become as susceptible to scams as boomers are.

On my phone and at work so can’t post an archive yet, but in New Mexico the GOP HQ had an arson attack that’s more likely than not overtly political.

Fucking nuts.
Its how the cartels run Mexico, and how they run several border state's local governments. Lots of small town police forces and local governments are owned by the cartels in the United States if they are on the border. They just have been not as overt and have stuck to threats and bribes for now or made sure the journalists disappeared.

No one said that. Don't be a retarded sperge.

I'm saying low skill menial jobs should be paid a low skill menial job wage.
The value of a job is based on the scarcity of people to do the job and the value add of the labor itself. A bricklayer is an important job, but it doesn't pay well because a ton of people can be bricklayers. Moreover, one single bricklayer is not going to build a building on their own. Houses would cost over a million dollars to construct if you pay every brick layer and roofer six figures and almost no one would be able to afford to buy them.

On the other hand, an architect makes six figures in a lot of cases. There are far fewer people that can do the job of an architect and the value of ensuring the building doesn't collapse and lead to a lawsuit is worth paying six figures per year.

Christian meme.exe & morals matter in 2024 & 2016.:politisperg:
More like the bugmen are 30 years out of date in understanding Republicans.

Someone just exchanged ~$14 Billion in fiat (USD) for 4.5 million oz gold (real money) for immediate delivery

USD devaluation in 3…

The civil engineer’s job is to ensure the building doesn’t collapse. The architect gets paid the big money to make building look gud.

anyone else feel like April Fools this year feels to much like shouting "planes incoming" during the blitz and laughing like silly when everyone runs for cover

2 hot wars going on in the world
major trade relationships and alliances crumbling
natural disasters are sundering many parts of the globe

Seems hard to put a punchline on the end of all that

Gee, maybe Millennials really are the special snowflake generation. One that can adequately use technology.
