$80 for a Nintendo first party title?! I thought GTA VI would be the first game to set that standard with increasing the MSRP. Nintendo beat them to it. Now, other developers will follow suit. Thanks, Nintendo.EVEN PLEBBIT IS REVOLTING OVER THE PRICES
NINTENDO, YOU DONE FUCKED UP
ZEHEHAHAHAHHalfway through it. An fucking app for the last 2 Zelda games, an paid tech demo, crippie basketball.
Someone must have been high.
Oh boy, another no dungeons 3D Zelda with twink Link and a lore-confused Zelda universe. Really eating good boys... pass. Especially at these prices I'm seeing.Nice to see a sequel to Age of Calamity, I liked that a lot. Decent presentation overall.
I guess I'm smarter than I thought. That's a stupid reason. It isn't the 80s anymore, Nintendo.Nintendo did consider calling it the "Super Switch" but didn't because... the SNES couldn't play NES games![]()
Hollywood Hulk Hogan is objectively smarter than Nintendo at times.I guess I'm smarter than I thought. That's a stupid reason. It isn't the 80s anymore, Nintendo.
HOW?! HOW DO THOSE TWO GAMES IN PARTICULAR HAVE ISSUES?! 4K 60FPS, REMEMBER?!Pizza Tower, DOOM Eternal,
Interesting how BoTW and ToTK isn't on that list. Those greedy jap niggers.A few more bits of information:
- Several Switch 1 games will get free performance/GameShare updates, including: ARMS, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics, Zelda: Link’s Awakening (thank you), Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Game Builder Garage, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain.
- The home menu looks the same as Switch 1 but somehow even more minimalist/soulless.
- The eShop looks basically the same except it actually runs well.
- Nintendo did consider calling it the "Super Switch" but didn't because... the SNES couldn't play NES games
- According to the backwards compatibility list: Every first-party game will run perfectly, though certain games will require Switch 1 joycons (as expected for stuff like 1-2 Switch) and one of the Labo games is unplayable because the system physically won't fit inside the Toy-Con. Other than that, 1-2% of third-party games are currently known to have issues. Mostly shovelware, but there are some noteworthy games there like Pizza Tower, DOOM Eternal, and a few of the Arcade Archives. ~80% are still in testing but don't have any known issues yet.
First 3D Donkey Kong? Was DK64 nothing to you?Donkey Kong Bananza is about what I expected from the first 3D Donkey Kong
Lmaooo we Eurofags almost pay $100 per game. The pricing is nuts, this is worse that I thought. They not only went beyond the $400 barrier, it is $500 before tax to have the privileged to play the new Mario Kart at launch.
Want to take advantage of the power of the Switch 2 to enhance your Switch 1 games? Pony up pay pig, and $80 fucking dollars for stand alone Mario Kart World. Motherfuckers!
Europoors are going be the ones screwed the worst, I've read reports of €470 just for the base unit, $510 for the MKW bundle and the games are going to be more expensive too.

256 GB of storage and no OLED just so they can double dip with a hardware refresh at a later date.
You even have to pay for the Switch 2 tech demo ( Even Valve had the sense to give away Aperture Desk Job for free to showcase the Deck's tech features)
The greed and arrogance of this company, holy shit.
PC is the last bastion of good gaming at this point, I hereby apologize to for ever coming across as ballwashing Nintendo here.SegaNintendo Direct was abysmal, no new Mario is literally Sega-tier suicidality. The only notable NINTENDO games were Mario Kart and Donkey Kong (which looks meh, and has that trash redesign/reversion).
Oh, can't forget the fucking DEI crippled wheelchair game, DRAGxDRIVE!!
All 3rd party support was ports except that Fromsoft shit. This releases early June with that dogshit library?![]()
Sounds like bullshit PR talk from what their real reason would be I assume: a lineage of Switch consoles a la the Playstation, considering that they'd adopted quite a lot from them as of late.Nintendo did consider calling it the "Super Switch" but didn't because... the SNES couldn't play NES games![]()
These look more like architectural issues than actual performance bugs. Like, only the first Mega Man Legacy Collection is on that list.HOW?! HOW DO THOSE TWO GAMES IN PARTICULAR HAVE ISSUES?! 4K 60FPS, REMEMBER?!
The real reason is because those cowards didn't want people to shorten it to SS.Sounds like bullshit PR talk from what their real reason would be I assume: a lineage of Switch consoles a la the Playstation, considering that they'd adopted quite a lot from them as of late.
Am I the only one who just saw it as "Rocket League but basketball and it uses the new system gimmick in a tank controls sort of way"? How buck broken do you have to be to see it as disability propaganda? Also that wheelchair basketball game probably had its concept chosen by some woke PR team cause they could've had a bunch more interesting concept but nope, its "dull disability rep game" to me.
How buck broken do you have to be to keep defending this shit? These look more like architectural issues than actual performance bugs. Like, only the first Mega Man Legacy Collection is on that list.
