WOW this is specially shitty because he knew not only that Apollo paid no money to Billy and the settlement didnt harm him financially but he also knew EXACTLY that the major factor that pushed Apollo to suicide was the hit piece by DarkViper (which Karl himself wanted to make) and he knew this prior to Billy videos.
Karl is a massive piece of shit goddamn.

In the end, Apollo was right about these people. Karl, Dark Viper and EZScape always acted as holier than thou retards while they are biggest dipshits imaginable:

1. Karl helped with the research to a hit piece video about Apollo and after his death he used Apollo's corpse to so he can virtue signal about Billy Mitchell.
2. EZScape was privately friendly with Apollo but in public was shit talking him and made an entire hit piece video about him.
3. Dark Viper released a video the day Apollo died and shat on his fresh corpse without a second thought.

Was it retarded for Apollo to name Dark Viper and EZScape in his suicide note? Yes, I would even argue it was intentional because Apollo was vindictive. Was his main point about the speed running community being hypocrites correct? Also, Yes.
Regardless of Apollo's flaws (nobody is perfect) he was right about these people.

I'm back and forth on this one - he did it for more than one reason (chronic illness fucking sucks) but it's pretty clear the reputational damage the video caused tanked any hope Apollo had of having a YouTube career. His views quartered after it came out and his best friend, EZScape, refused to hear his side of anything (where he was probably going to explain the settlement and debunk the video funnily enough). They absolutely deserved to get named in the note even if it was some vindictive parting shot, they were the final thing which sent him off the edge.

Could be argued that Billy came out slightly ahead since they never had to go to trial. His scores were not reinstated but were only put back up on a "historical" version of the TG leaderboards, which also included all of Todd Rogers completely impossible high scores. Billy attempted to portray this as his scores being reinstated but got community noted on twitter and shut up about it.
