Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

I’m at the point in my life where time is a much more valuable commodity than money when it comes to entertainment, so an extra $10 here or there isn’t going to make or break anything for me specifically. But it’s still scummy, everything is overpriced, and I’ve 95% retreated to retro games. I’ll get a Switch 2 and the games I really care about (there are several this year), then wait for a launch-day-system mod to go crazy with homebrew.

Buying shitty over priced things just because you have money is still supporting the company and softly approving of their bad consumer policies.

With the switch 2 being announced (I don't know if it's backwards compatible) but would it be worth buying a Switch 1 and cleaning up as the old library gets sold off?
The new one is backwards compatible, so it really depends on your ability to plan ahead, imo

That hurts all of us. It is not an extra 10 but an extra 20. Ffs at least wait for a sale or something. Save money for a rainy day. Get a PC or something, anything is better than just throwing your money like that. Nintendo, for all their flaws, are good students. So them they have something to learn.

256GB base storage on a console with no physical carts 🗿
I remember when I got the xbone as a teenager and 500GB still wasnt enough because every game was loading up on 4k textures and pushing out 10GB updates weekly on top of the 50GB+ base size
Taking bets now on the size of the new Mario Kart, already guaranteed to be full of fuckhuge 4k textures. Maybe we'll come full circle to people walking around with memory card organizers like it's 2005 again, or even more ass backwards with users needing to buy a microSD to store the game data after they already bought the "physical copy" to access the game data on their microSD.
