Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

It's crippleball.
No, it’s robots.
>looks up trailer
Huh, never mind. I’m still going with them being robot suits/augmented like in ARMS, but I see the comparison now.
Silksong totally got announced this time.
The Deltarune and Silksong memes are actually real.
… oh god Deltarune and Mario Kart on the same day. And maybe that Kirby expansion!

Looks like you can buy the upgrades at a discount if you already own the game, and get it for free if you got switch online expansion pass.

I imagine they will play without the upgrades.
As I said prior, there's no way in hell I am going to pay extra for essentially an config file. Literal nigger logic

At best I'm gonna do what I did with the Switch and check in five years down the line and get it for cheap if I consider it worth it.
No matter how bad Switch 2 sucks, it's not going to "die". MS or Sony will not drop an amazing new thing that drives the Switch 2 off the market and the Switch 1 isn't going anywhere, so they've got all the time in the world for people to break down and finally buy a $100 Zelda download code.

Isn’t that exactly what it is? Robot basketball?
I thought they were humans dressed up like Metroid, but cripple robots that have to move their wheels by hand does seem like a possible future for clownworld. They should still literally shoot basketballs, like from a turret.

Salt in the wound is GC being Switch 2 exclusive, we didn't even get DS for both, which is what should've been announced too.
Exclusive in the sense of being legally exclusive. In reality you can play every GameCube game ever on a toaster. Where can you obtain these GameCube games? Hmm, I wonder where.

However, that would be morally wrong, even if you only play games that you already bought for your own GameCube library. I should definitely have to pay for a subscription every month to play games I already own on more convenient hardware. Oh, and what are the chances they are going to have Simpson's Hit and Run, eh?

It's not like there's anything worth buying anyway lmao. Not like this will work with Nintendo fans though. Shiggy could shit in a box and sell it for 100 bucks and they'd line up with their mouths open.
I have seen enough stuff that I liked from them that sold like shit. Codename S.T.E.A.M. for one.

God I hope you're right.
Make me right! The 3DS had bad initial sales and that dropped the price. It does not even need to be a failure, just less of a success than the original. Lower pre-order numbers for games and the system, a big fuss on forums, anything. It has been done!

(New to the thread. I don't like Nintendo.)

With the switch 2 being announced (I don't know if it's backwards compatible) but would it be worth buying a Switch 1 and cleaning up as the old library gets sold off? This has been the case since the PS1, but I don't know if the market has changed so much that getting a switch collection cheap is really a viable option. Especially with hardware issues like joycon drift. Also, there's few games that aren't on PC or better on emulator.

No, spite them out of a few more shekels.

I'm surprised they haven't hiked the price for that too, we didn't even get DS or Dreamcast games like what many thought.
It'll be years now before we get either of those, and it'll all be Switch 2 exclusive despite Switch 1 being more than capable of emulating both fine, especially DS which is surprisingly possibly the easiest thing to emulate relative to its power, for some reason.

The ease and convenience of multiplayer (especially online) via Switch makes it worth it. Single player, sure.

Also, there's few games that aren't on PC or better on emulator.
If you're fine emulating then there's no reason to get one aside from portability. I'm not sure how good the emulation is anymore though.

This was Nintendo bravely snatching defeat from Jaws of victory. Most of the titles were 3rd party ports of shitty games, the first party ones are meh at best, the hardware whilst nice is overpriced, and the actual Jewish practices of $90 games, paid upgrades, NSO shit...

No. I'm done. Give me MP4 on Switch 1 and then kindly fuck off. I'm done with modern gaming, I have a back catalogue to last me a lifetime, and to pass onto my kids. Retro scene is booming, I don't need anything more, and not for $90 and higher (fuck digital, not even an option).

This was a litmus test for Ninty on where they'd go after Iwata. They failed.

Feels like they put more hype and effort into their stupid Alarm clock thing.
It really does feel like Nintendo, maybe just it's geriatric higher ups, have pretty much zero passion for the actual videogames anymore. They're more interested in being Japanese Disney
It would be one thing if you could reliably wait a year or two for discounts but they don't do that. And even in the event of a rare sale, 15% 80 dollars is just going to be full price today.

About fucking time! For all its faults, I enjoy Donkey Kong 64, and have been looking forward to a new 3D DK game for years.

Also funny enough, I was thinking just yesterday that it would be funny if a Switch 2 port of Bloodborne was announced, and lo and behold a spiritual successor of sorts if announced via The Duskbloods. Looks neat.

Those game prices though, the fuck are they smoking over at Nintendo?

If you buy and not boycott, you are a niggercattle.

That stupid alarm clock thing was like the epitome of out touch executive boomer. No one even uses an alarm clock anymore!
