Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I can't find the page where it says the majority of games will be download-only. Do you have a link? If it was in the direct, I must have missed it because I was skipping around.
It's okay when you go to buy the physical version the box will shame you with this disclaimer clearly stating "THIS ISNT THE GAME RETARD WE DONT KNOW WHY YOU'RE PAYING EXTRA FOR THIS EITHER"

I don't really get people saying shit is predatory and/or greedy. It seems like they're taking shit really personally, or believe there's a conspiracy against them. The only conspiracy is that games are escalating rapidly in cost, and the market is driving this.

Who is the predator? The one that is selling expensive toys? Who is the prey? I don't see the greed either, I guess they cost what they cost, sometimes they'll be on sale, or they'll do the voucher thing again, I dunno. You are poor in America if you can't afford a budget smartphone/laptop tier purchase once a decade, and you are retarded or antisocial if you can't find some way to play Nintendo games you want at a discount or by sharing.

It's a hobby where you are generally buying new shit and playing it and throwing it away when you lose interest. Inflation happened, the budgets are all higher, the computer looks nicer than the last one, I dunno, the math adds up.

My issue isn't the price of the console but the games. They might drop the price of the Switch 2, but qs far as I know, the standard MSRP of games have never gone down due to customer backlash, at least not in the last 2-3 decades.
That's mostly because the standard MSRP holds for approximately 3 months to a year before bottoming out.

For those complaining about the cost of new games. Prices aren't reaching new highs. Your parents paid the equivalent of 110 dollars today to buy you a copy of Turok.

Rising prices aren't a good thing. But the gaming market is still cheaper today than it was in the 90s and early 00s.

My mother rented N64 games for me and my brothers, actually.

>No paid online services
>No game subscription services
>The companies werent making millions scraping data and selling it everywhere
>No ads
>All physical copies
>Booming used game market, had to rely on initial sales

Considering all the small ways these companies try to extract value from the user now, I would venture to say that there isnt a single digital game worth more than $40. $60 physical with the full game on the disc and playable without ever connecting to the internet.

I don't give a shit, we don't fucking live in the 80's. I'm not going to eat the slop before the slaughter like a good piggy because it was the custom four decades ago.

blowing cripples is at least better than a tranny nigger faggot feminist game.
Oh how quickly we forget:

Same. But I did own a select few games. Usually Christmas and birthday presents. I'm just saying that this is nothing the market hasn't seen before and if games sold for an ostensibly higher value back then there's no reason to believe Nintendo won't be raking in money hand over fist even at 80 bucks a pop.

Yeah with all their ‘if you upgrade a Switch 1 game to a Switch 2 game it won’t work on Switch 1’. I expected the Physical Enhanced Edition to come with the update already on the cart.

Or it does and the box just makes that real unclear.
