I still believe people will buy the Switch 2 and $80-90 games as Nintendo fans are retarded and people already spend $70 on bad games.
I don't. Wii U preceded Switch and sold absymally. There are limits to what people will pay.

For what its worth, I understand why each of these individual choices was made in regards to pric, physical vs digital, region-locking, drip drip drip NSO, etc. And a lot of that is related to the absolutely terrible value of the yen. But that doesn't mean we have to buy it. I'm not buying that shit if physical games are going to cost 80 dollars. They want to make me their pay pig? I want them to fucking grovel, 3DS-style, and beg users to come back.

70-(possibly?) 90 fucking DOLLARS for a first party title??? :stress:
Bro at least when buying something like DLC, you can at least cope that you're getting extra content even if said new stuff could've/should've been in the base game. They're just going full mask-off here that they want more out of you niggas, lol.

so wait does this have the game on it or is it just paying for the same digital version of the same digital game on a new platform and this just being an activation key ewaste thing?
There is no native Switch 2 version. They just sell you the Switch 1 version + (online?) update.

Hope we can emulate this thing quickly like switch 1.
You're assuming Nintendo isn't watching the emulation scene like a hawk.

You're also assuming normalfags aren't going to shut the fuck up about a S2 emulator on social media as soon as one arrives, bring unwarranted attention to it.

You should also pray the devs don't use official code or illegal SDKs, otherwise this will be the Yuzu/Citra situation all over again.

I can't find the page where it says the majority of games will be download-only. Do you have a link? If it was in the direct, I must have missed it because I was skipping around.
Companies that don't pay for cartridges will have game key cards that don't contain the full game and just gives you the ability to download the game.
