Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

Are you new to Nintendo products? These fuckers have been known to raise prices on games half a decade after release, lowering prices is not how they do business.
I was referring to literally every other publisher in the market. Customers have not rebelled against price increases because everyone else drops their prices within a few months and price sensitive customers are satisfied with waiting.

It's like a perfect list, from most /v/ tier chimpout to least.

Reject gay spergy titles, embrace (Currently Plagued)
I don't understand how Nintendo managed to cultivate a wholesome chungus reputation. They're right up there with EA in terms of being predatory and greedy.
There’s been a running joke for years that “Nintendo the developer” and “Nintendo the business” are two very different entities.
Checked /v/ and they are being contraian and sucking Nintendo's dick and saying people are poor.
But /v/ is always wrong… so that means… :cryblood:
You're assuming Nintendo isn't watching the emulation scene like a hawk.

You're also assuming normalfags wont shut the fuck up about a S2 emulator on social media as soon as one arrives, bring unwarranted attention to it.

You should also pray the devs don't use official code or illegal SDKs, otherwise this will be the Yuzu/Citra situation all over again.
I guarantee the crackdown on Switch emulation was specifically an attempt to snuff out Switch 2 emulation before it could get off the ground.
For those complaining about the cost of new games. Prices aren't reaching new highs. Your parents paid the equivalent of 110 dollars today to buy you a copy of Turok.

Rising prices aren't a good thing. But the gaming market is still cheaper today than it was in the 90s and early 00s.

This could possibly be a good argument until you remember that indies typically cost no more than $30, usually ~$15. Toby Fox just announced that what basically amounts to his life’s legacy will be $25.

Early 2000s was actually the cheapest time. 50 bucks for everything across all disc-based platforms. It was the cart era where big games with extra chips cost more.

Animal Crossing was "only" ruined by English localizers. The presence of niggers is unfortunate but they've been in Nintendo games since Wii with Miis, though it sucks how overrepresented they are now.

I dread Tomodachi Life and wish it didn't exist...
They were actually contracted by the government to make Tomodachi life. The carts are going to be coated in spermicide, we all win.

Then don't buy it? Nobody is forcing you to actually give Nintendo any of your money.
"Dont like it dont buy it" stopped working when every company in the market realized they can get away with it if they ALL do it because news flash most people here havent been buying shit like this but when faced with the option of paying $80 for a game or sitting bored in your apartment because theyre all $80 now, guess what a redditor with no self control is going to spend their disability on.

I want you to think about how every single product and service is now worse today and think how that worked out. Things getting worse, more expensive, and worse business practices isn't isolated to Nintendo or video games.

Congratulations. You've encapsulated the very concept of market forces in the most soyjak way possible.

False equivalence? Because most of us can go without an daily Bing Bing Wahoo! fix.
Tell me a service or product that hasn't gotten worse over time or a company that decided to treat their customers better instead of worse over time?
Imagine being so retarded that you are fine with companies treating people poorly simply because you don't care about said product.

No. I'm done. Give me MP4 on Switch 1 and then kindly fuck off. I'm done with modern gaming, I have a back catalogue to last me a lifetime, and to pass onto my kids. Retro scene is booming, I don't need anything more, and not for $90 and higher (fuck digital, not even an option).
Yar Har Fiddle Dee Dee.

They're more interested in being Japanese Disney
Damn. Prophetic and worrying, and probably true given their recent history.

My favorite examples that we've seen in the last 5 years are the ones where a company gets backlash and people boycott the product so the company apologizes, but does what they wanted to do anyway, just silently this time.

I guess I would have to ask if I believe every product and service is actively worse today than it was a decade ago.

Has the quality of Mario Kart games actually gone down or are we just mad that it costs 80 bucks to play it now? I think one of the more interesting things about all of this is that the internet is complaining more about the rising price of Nintendo games than they do about the rising cost of groceries (something they actually need to survive).

It's just not realistic to think the price of everything but video games would increase. Especially not in such an economically unstable time when there are multiple ongoing trade wars that leave execs unable to realistically predict future costs.
