Fair, but Trump said he was going to do all of this. He said it was going to be rough.
Yeah, he also said he would suck israels cock and came through on that but i'm still going to complain about it. I don't mind if things are rough for a year or so but they could make things significantly less rough by not being fucking retards about it.

Absolutely. You don't have blackmail material on pedo CEOs, so you won't get hot stock tips. Don't be a sucker and short term trade.

If you need your money out of the market in the next couple years, buy FDIC-insured CDs with terms of 3 yrs or less. Otherwise, stick money in broadly diversified index funds and forget about it. Vanguard bros, check in.

Don't even bother looking. It doesn't matter. I'm buying more S&P 500 this week and I don't give a flying fuck what it does for the next year.

Buy and hold, think long term. You're never going to beat the Wall Street big boys in the shorter term because you don't have their (incredibly corrupt) connections. So invest in highly diversified low-cost funds and forget about it.
Low latency, high-frequency trading basically killed day trading/individual stocks. If you want market exposure, indexes all the way, buy and hold.

What's a better policy?
eliminate the federal reserve, selective tariffs based on actual numbers and not trade deficits, reducing federal income tax for anyone who makes under 500k a year to less than 2.5% (ideally 0), and using some of the money we are already printing to pay for retarded shit to instead pay for more infrastructure and manufacturing projects. Also extreme deregulation which they are sort of working on.
and most importantly, using the military to deport every single non-citizen and making it illegal for non citizens to own property in the USA, and restricting or banning massive investment firms from buying real estate. that alone would make life infinitely more affordable for regular Americans

Hey Euros, why do you need tariffs if our cars suck and our food is full of chemicals?:

Those "safety" standards are non-tariff trade barriers, which is why Trump calculated the tariffs based off of the trade deficit and not the "official" tariff rate.

You know that there are American made cars other than full size trucks/SUVs?

"Why does the EU place tarrifs on American cars if they suck so much that no European would buy them?"
"I don't know, but I trust EU bureaucrats to have made the right decision because they're Very Smart.":

The EU regulating foreign products out of their market is good because they care about "quality":

Why are Euros such smug, unaware hypocrites?

"I plan to boycott all American products"
"Why don't you start with Reddit then?"
"Nah the advantages of using Reddit are bigger than disadvantages":

lmao South Korea has less than a 1% tariff on US and got hit with 25%
Perhaps their great-grandchildren can avenge them...

Oh wait, South Korea has the lowest birthrate in the world. They're literally going extinct. Guess we'll just financially rape them as they die off. Sayonara suckers!
Apparently it's, "Don't be a retard."
Too late.
Low latency, high-frequency trading basically killed day trading/individual stocks
100 percent true. I'm surprised anyone still thinks they have a chance against the Wallstreet short term traders. They've got the best quants and computers in the world, and senators in their pockets. You gonna get raped.

eliminate the federal reserve
some of the money we are already printing
eliminate the institution printing money, but we would use the printed money? This is contradictory.
using some of the money we are already printing to pay for retarded shit to instead pay for more infrastructure and manufacturing projects.
Why not have other countries do that for us? I'm not against this proposal. But I've given plenty to the world, they can give a little back.
using the military to deport every single non-citizen
They're working on it. We have a bunch of state national guards doing just that
restricting or banning massive investment firms from buying real estate.
I agree.

Europeans

very reminiscent of the 1840 Presidential election of William Henery Harrison vs Martin Van Buren. (What, no? Im a great time at partys, shut up, NO, YOU ARE CRYING!) Buren tired to use the strategy of the "Le epic sick burn" by painting Harrison and his party as the party of 'log cabins and hard cider". Unsurprisingly the American people very much identified POSITIVELY rather than the, for some reason, anticipated negative response, and voted in droves for the "log cabin" candidate who leaned hard into the charactarization by giving out little toy log cabins to children and hard cider to prospective voters.

>Won in a landslide 234-60 with 53% of the popular vote
>Dident wear his coat during his inaguration
>Caught pnemonia and died within a month of taking office

What a guy.
Harrison should be remembered for being the general that broke Tecumsehs Confederacy at Tippecanoe and in doing so basically secured the Great Lakes for settlement. But the general public doesn’t really understand the significance of the War of 1812/attached Indian wars, so he’s demoted to le funny died right away man.

trump is dumping my stocks with his retarded tariff release
Welcome to the Bone Zone. This retarded nigger has been calling for tariffs for months but I held despite kike Lutnik saying to expect more. Zognald offered the slightest bit of hope he wouldn’t be retarded but nope. I guess he’s a complete WEF stooge. Prepare to own nothing and be happy I guess.

I love my “high” wages, I love my “cheap” products.

I love globalization!

Never forget that almost every time series analysis of “household” cohorts doesn’t account for the generational shift towards dual income households.

IE: this chart starts at ~1985 and ends at~2022. Household vs individual income went from being ~12.5% higher to ~32% higher over this time span. So it’s not just that household income across 35 years is horrifically stagnant, it’s that the stagnation is occurring even in the face of a large compositional shift from single earner towards dual earners.

Germany remained a manufacturing powerhouse until a decade ago, when they decided to kneecap their supply chains and input costs with Net Zero. It didn't get to be the engine of Europe by paying the lowest wages in Europe. America prior to the implementation of GATT and other free trade agreements following WWII was also a manufacturing powerhouse, not because of its cheap labor, but because of its investment, factor production, and technological endowment, during a time when the US maintained the highest tariffs in the developed world while maintaining the highest rate of economic growth. The idea that "a manufacturing-dominated economy is incompatible with high salaries" is non-congruent with history. Even China doesn't compete on labor costs anymore, otherwise SEA or India would be the world factory now, they compete on a highly developed manufacturing apparatus, similar to what the US once had.
SEA is becoming the world's factory, little by little. China still does not have high salaries nor high consumption, that's why the mostly export everything they produce, if they had high consumption they'd be buying their own shit instead of shipping it overseas. Germany and the US remain industrial powerhouses (hence why I had "stopped" in quotes to my reply), but the size of their industrial sectors both as share of GDP and share of manufacturing have decreased, both due to aggressive automation (which China is also trying to get into so it can switch it's workforce into more productive sectors, as well as handle a comming demographic decline) and because other sectors just grow faster in developed economies. China can grow because until very very recently it was basically a shithole, it's starting to slow down because it's becoming an advanced economy, which will utlimately make it switch into a more consumption-based economy.

eliminate the institution printing money, but we would use the printed money? This is contradictory.
the federal reserve does a lot more than print money. I'm not against inflationary currency, I'm against a cabal of bankers running and manipulating it.
Why not have other countries do that for us? I'm not against this proposal. But I've given plenty to the world, they can give a little back.
Because we shouldn't rely on the rest of the world to pay for our shit.
They're working on it. We have a bunch of state national guards doing just that
I hope so but it's nowhere near the numbers it needs to be. They have been focusing on the 'violent criminals' when they should be using the army to go door to door asking for ID
