It reminds me of every "menacing" liberal who brags about joining a left-wing "militia," going out into the desert to larp as a green beret for an afternoon holding a gun they can barely operate, much less maintain or service. An interesting side story has appeared. As already posted, Lime Wolfy reports that his boyfriend broke up with him in the wake of the knife threats made against Diezel. According to Lime's bio, that boyfriend is JoeySkyde. However, JoeySkyde claims not to know Lime at all, and has even posted a chat log wherein Lime appears to admit to being a fake account designed to hurt JoeySkyde's reputation.

So we have two options.

#1. JoeySkyde is telling the truth, Lime Wolfy was a fake account from the start. Lime Wolfy was a small account only started in March, so this is conceivably true. However it seems implausible simply because threatening Diezel while listing JoeySkyde in one's bio is an incredibly indirect method if one's goal is to hurt JoeySkyde's reputation. But maybe the person behind Lime is really that crazy.

#2. JoeySkyde is lying and faked the chat log, he was indeed Lime's boyfriend but is now trying to deny this due to not wanting to be associated with a knife maniac. Plausible if their relationship was short term or not serious enough to have been talked about before; stretches credulity if the relationship was previously mentioned to any of JoeySkyde's associates, however.

Can't really be sure with what I've seen.

(Edit: Option #3 suggested by someone else to me. It's ridiculous but so are the other options: Lime was a fake account created by JoeySkyde. A look at Joey's profile shows that Joey is involved in a lot of drama with all sorts of people. Maybe Joey is just not smart enough to avoid making their sockpuppet account mention their real account. Maybe they wanted to threaten Diezel, used the Lime account to do it, and now that it blew up in the wrong way they are trying to sever that link to protect their primary identity. Joey owning the Lime account would make it trivial to create the chat log which was posted.)

The more I think about it, the more option 3 makes sense. Lime Wolfy is a sockpuppet of JoeySkyde.

Joey creates Lime for use as a sockpuppet. In order to make the Lime character more believable and realistic, Lime claims that Joey is his boyfriend--a claim that is safe because Joey won't refute it, but at the same time Joey will never mention Lime because Lime isn't real. This allows Joey to pretend not to know who Lime is in the event that denial is needed. Joey uses the Lime account to threaten Diezel, then when the drama gets too hot, Joey claims not to know Lime, has the Lime account send a message to his primary one creating 'evidence' that Joey is an innocent victim here, then deletes the Lime account.

In a message supposedly directed at Lime, Joey admits to understanding what Lime did though not condoning it. Could be that this is meant to distance himself from Lime's behavior to avoid the consequences, but doesn't really condemn it because that would be psychologically uncomfortable since Joey actually is Lime. He admits to being unable to hold in his thoughts when angry, which is an easy motivation for the creation of a sockpuppet account to threaten people with.

These tweets could be interpreted as Joey indirectly apologizing and explaining why he did it, to ease his conscience or to soften the anger against his alternate-self, without actually admitting that he did it.

It seems to all fit. That doesn't prove it, of course, but the other options seem less believable to me.

(Also, they're both green canines. For a furry who can't manage to separate their sock from themselves, this is a connection that feels right for the user but is plausibly deniable.)

Not really.
