Nintendo Switch 2 - For the Soytendo consoomers to speculate about the successor to the Switch, recently announced for 2025.

This is retarded logic. For starters, we've no idea how many units they had available. And it could still flop going forward after the inital hype dies down. It probably won't, though, because the Switch is aimed at children and manbabies with more money than brains, and the latter will happily splurge on whatever daddy Ninty puts out.
There's been article after article about how Nintendo delayed the switch 2 to stockpile units for launch year, how they literally already have 20 million sitting in warehouses ready to go already to beat scalpers, etc.

My feelings are mixed about Mario Kart World - Having a big open world to drive around in is cool but it means that the courses aren't as unique as they were before. Nintendo Treehouse played through the entire Mushroom Cup and all four courses seemed pretty much the same.

And I think they're getting a little ridiculous when it comes to new playable characters...We could have had E. Gadd, Baby Wario, Boom Boom, Pom Pom, the Sprixies, Cranky, Dixie, K. Rool...and instead we get the Cow from Moo Moo Farm. And I'm not happy about having the Koopalings absent again, Lemmy was my main in MK8. (Autistic rant over)

Wait, has it been confirmed that the Kirby DLC is going to be that much? I really wish that games were as easy to pirate as movies and TV shows. I would like to point out that I got laid off back in December when my employer downsized and am still between jobs. I am going to buy Pokémon Za no matter what though and I'm probably going to cave in to that Kirby DLC too.
The Kirby DLC is $20 if you have the original game.

But if you do not own the game already it is a whopping $80 to buy it new.

Has it been confirmed whether or not I'll be able to import all of my downloaded games and save data to the Switch 2?
No. Guy is just complaining that if he wants to buy the cartridge version of the game he already owns, he has to pay full price plus extra.

If you just want the expansion pack, it'll be sold separately.

You can either spend money on the expansion pack at Wal-Mart, or you can go to the eShop and buy it there.

For games that won't get extra content added, except the new Pokémon game for some reason, it'll be a free update. Which games those are, we don't know all of them yet, but it'll probably be a lot more first party, and probably enough second/third party devs that pay them to do it.

>Trying to discuss actual complaints and criticisms with the switch 2 online
>a half dozen "muh games in the 90s were $80, muh inflation, muh tariffs!" responses
>three hundred fucking "OMG, I can't believe they're selling this for $600 and games are $110 and there's absolutely no physical cartridges anymore whatsoever, and also they don't include a dock with the system, it will only play proprietary memory cards like the vita, you can't play switch 1 games on it at all without paying $20 for each of them, also none of these are actual exclusives because of [insert cope], there aren't any hall effect joysticks, and they made it so you can't even change the language on the system without paying extra!" responses

I'm not sure if some retards are aware of this, but making up shit does not in any way make it easier for actual complaints to be heard, and it's not bootlicking to call out factually incorrect statements.
Yeah, I've seen so many cope with that inflation comment. A console should never even cost more than $400 in the first place. And that's not even taking into consideration with how wages aren't even keeping up with inflation. The switch 3 could be $999 at this point and people will defend it even if their cost of living has gotten significantly worse by that point. They deserve to be nickel and dimed.

Why is DK Jr. the star of the new DK game? Are we doing another time shift? Is Cranky Kong dead?
Cranky is in the new game.
Nintendo fans are really conflicted about DK's new design. Pretty clear the Bananza devs did it so they can more easily have DK do a varied away emotions. It's really not that big of a redesign IMO.
