I think the switch 2 is in a weird spot where it's almost an inverse ps5. For the first 3 or 4 years of the ps5, there was basically ZERO meaningful reason to get a ps5 if you already owned a ps4 because everything was being put on ps4 anyways and the ps5 just wasn't enough of a jump in power to make a difference unless it was having to brute force its way through shit optimization like with cyberbunk.
On the other hand, the more games you already own for switch and the more you already use your switch, the better deal that switch 2 is due to the more than respectable bump in power, while if you don't already have a sizeable switch library, I absolutely wouldn't recommend getting a switch 2 unless there's something like mario kart or dk that you're just desperate for, because the games aren't getting any cheaper.
