Part of her problem manifests in her penchant for slap fighting and tardraging online, which the therapist isn't going to know about - and I doubt she's going to explain to a therapist that she's arguing on a Sao Tome citrus farming forum about her kidnapped fictional animeson.Normally these types end up just lying to therapists so much that they don't get the full story and can't help them. At best it becomes another way for them to get validation through their one-sided accounts of events. "My therapist said you're abusive!" is a normal BPD thing to say, for example.
These types always overshare, but to the wrong people. It's like a curse for cluster B's.I wouldn't be surprised if she was lying, but I have a small hope inside of me that this crazy bitch can do one thing right. I can't comprehend telling Kiwi Farms your entire life story when asked once, but not actually telling your therapist what's going on in your life. I can't imagine my non-bpd brain can't imagine doing some shit like that, but knowing Tiffany. Yeah probably lmao, especially when she was off her meds.
Zoobles doesn't need curing. She just needs season 3 of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun and unlimited cookie run currency.Bpd isn't curable. Therapy and medication really just assist with managing symptoms and hopefully helping them develop coping skills. There's no admission, drug cocktail, emotional breakthrough, or fourth thing that therapy could do to crank out a normal 20 year old. It's primarily for managing symptoms.

Schizo's hierarchy of needs.
Things get a lot better when you learn there's not some silver bullet solution that just makes it go away, when you understand that it's just about coping with things rather than thinking you can stop them from happening. There's no admission, drug cocktail, emotional breakthrough, or fourth thing that therapy could do to crank out a normal 20 year old. Yeah, both Strattera and Abilify can cause mood swings
And results like this only happen to the mature, self aware BPD's who accept and go through years of treatment. Which are few and far between and always older than early 20's.Things get a lot better when you learn there's not some silver bullet solution that just makes it go away, when you understand that it's just about coping with things rather than thinking you can stop them from happening.
You don't start off self-aware and mature, you get your ass humbled wasting most of your twenties being a loon before getting a wake-up call. And results like this only happen to the mature, self aware BPD's who accept and go through years of treatment. And that wakeup call only works for some of them. The ones that don't heed it are exponentially more likely to have a thread here. You don't start off self-aware and mature, you get your ass humbled wasting most of your twenties being a loon before getting a wake-up call.
It worked for her, or she wouldn't have bothered to explore therapy period. I didn't until my late twenties. You have to want to be helped, not dragged into it, and I've been a gay cheerleader in the thread long enough to say this time around is going fine (relatively speaking). You're not going to get it right and figure everything out in one shot or a few sessions. And that wakeup call only works for some of them. Pretty much. Self-awareness is something that you have to build, to a certain degree, but you have to already be at a level where you recognize that there's a problem and are willing to (however begrudgingly) listen to what the professionals you seek treatment from have to say about your behavior. That's incredibly painful, and accepting it is almost like the stages of the grieving process. And results like this only happen to the mature, self aware BPD's who accept and go through years of treatment. Personally I think this is where things are at currently. She recognizes there are issues, and is at least exploring the help. And it is a lot like going through that process; it's a shitty mess of unlearning a lot of bad habits and unhelpful rationalizations, and you will fuck up a lot at first trying to develop new ones. I think the way she carries herself in general lately is a lot easier to interact with, to the point she's messing with us with bathtub shrimp (revealed to be air fried (called it by the way)). She spergs out and argues with people here but more of in sort of a play fighting kind of way. At least that's how I see things after the time I've hung out here.Pretty much. I hate to say it, but I have my doubts that Zoey is mature or mentally developed enough to voluntarily go through that, and it does have to be voluntary. Nobody can force you.
She's not. Her prefrontal cortex has a good 6 years before it develops. It's gonna be a long, bumpy road until then.I hate to say it, but I have my doubts that Zoey is mature or mentally developed enough to voluntarily go through that, and it does have to be voluntary. Nobody can force you.
