A lot of factories in China are small sweatshop and that's why you can order the exact same items from all three websites but receive wildly different results. Here's a random Temu/Shein/Wish video I picked at random. This is a very popular video to make, so there's tons of them, all very similar:

These Chinese platforms send specs out to various different sweatshops around the country. The sweatshops source their own materials, which makes the quality and output results somewhat random. I can't remember where I heard it, but apparently Ali Baba does the same thing, so you can get three different versions of the same item in a large order. So yeah, it's not a wild exaggeration to say that half of Chinese factories could go under, if they're small 15-person sweatshops who get their orders exclusively from Wish, Temu, and/or Shein.
