Its been the dream of military strategists since the dawn of aviation to win wars with only bombs dropped yet short of the use of nuclear weapons it has never once happened.
Has it, tho? Or is it just the dream of the MIC so that it can sell even more bombs and make their 3rd quarter profits look nicer?
-openly and shamelessly antisemitic, slurs and all
Reminds me of Ubisoft and how anti-racist/pro nigger they are, only to prove with Assassin's Creed Shadows(a game that did so poorly they sold out to Tencent almost immediately after) that they are more racist towards Japanese than almost anyone else. Left always projects onto the right(and everybody else), whatever they accuse you of, they are guilty more than three times over themselves, no exceptions
Why Chen regards it as “almost the definition of racism” to promote a country’s best interests by defending it from invaders from Venezuela is left unexplained. No doubt if you have to ask then you too are racist.
I really hope somebody is making a list of all these activist judges not doing their jobs. That will look lovely during the re-election season.
It's very odd to see staunchly anti-capitalist/corporation leftists suddenly get so worried about multi-billion dollar companies losing money.

It's almost as if they have zero independently formed ideals and just want to dunk on Bad Orange Man no matter what he does because the internet told them that's what they are supposed to do.
Same as with their love of Elon, only to completely lose their minds and engage in open terrorism against his cars(something the Elon thread claims is "not terrorism" or "even if it is, he deserves it" btw), all over his support of Donald and taking away their Twitter echo chamber.
NPCs getting their regular system updates with no thoughts of their own is the perfect way to describe the entirety of the left at any point in time thru out recent history.

That flip-flop happened the second Barack Obama became POTUS, and when he renewed and added more stuff to The Patriot Act instead of getting rid of it like he had promised several times in 2007-2008.

Every day during the Bush Administration, I kept hearing about The Patriot Act from Democrats (rightfully so-- The Patriot Act is authoritarian bullshit!). The second Obama because POTUS, The Patriot Act wasn't mentioned by them ever again. Amazing.

There was also the NSA scandal of 2013 during Obama's presidency. Crickets from the left.
I still think the NSA (millitary intelligence that answers to the president) is the good guy and that Edward Snowden was a CIA operative leaking shit to try to get one sides total internet dragnet shut down because the NSA algorithm was catching and documenting the crimes of the elite in a way any future president could choose to prosecute.

Smedly Butlers War is a Racket (link to PDF of the second highest decorated US marine of all time, read it) opened my eyes and broke my heart at the same time.

Saw the effects of our modern overseas war system take its toll on my own people and for what

How many of us are actually safer at night because of the bombs dropped on a place you cant even point to on a map?

I dont mean to doom, I just care about our people that bear our arms so greatly and I feel we have as deep and obligation to them as they do to us, how dare we send them into these fights without any defined goals other than "fuck em up"

"It is unworthy of a great state to fight in something which does not concern it own interest. Gentlemen, show me and objective worthy of war, and I will go along with you. It is easy enough for the statesman (or forum poster) to ride the popular wave from the comfort of his own fireside, making thunderous speeches (posts) from the rostrum, letting the public sound the trumpets of war, and leaving it to the musketeer, bleeding out his life's blood in the snowy wastes to settle whether polices end in glory, or in failure. Nothing is simpler. But, woe to any statesman, who, at such a time, fails to find a cause of war, which will stand up to the scrutiny, once the fighting is over."

And that shit was written after WWI! Over 100 years ago.

Trump says countries have been calling him all day to try and make deals, says the tariffs are a great negotiating tool.

i hope something good happens soon, got calls all day from suppliers saying prices are going up 20-40% all at once, it's been hell. and that's companies manufacturing in SEA and Africa.

When I was younger, I stayed away from the markets in times like this, having taken to heart the advice to never attempt to catch a falling knife.

Afterwards, every time I did the math, I found that had I entered the market at its peak before the crash, kept buying, and rode it all the way down, and then all the way back up to the current day, buying all the way I would have made a killing.

I'm feeling mighty tempted to try to catch this falling knife.

Obama's all so weak and old and shaky already and starting with the ol 'let me be clear'. This is pretty sad.
Nah, fuck that nigger. He helped get us here. Especially with the racial divide.

Time in the market beats timing the market. You might get lucky and enter at the right time. Or you can get in slow and low.

I have 40k in my checking should I buy an index fund?
There's several stocks that trade directly with the index, do those instead because they're cheaper to manage.
Not with all of your money of course, do like 6k a year.
S&P 500 raises on average 10% every year, 6k a year with that rate is around 800k in 29 years, add the average rate of inflation which is around 2.5% as well and that's a million dollars in 29 years, and if you do it with a Roth IRA you won't have to pay taxes when you go to claim it.

There's nothing stopping America from firebombing Yemen city-by-city village-by-village or from poisoning their food and water supplies to make the land itself wholely inhospitable.
Yes there is: it's our elections every 2 years. You go Sherman's March to the sea in yemen and you're opening us up to an influx of retarded arabs when the socio-political pendulum swings back to bleeding heart liberalism. Even the Jews in Gaza have a hard time doing what is their God given right because of other jews. the future after the genocide will be paid back 100x worse than just bombing them like we have now.

God knows lol. Get a money market Jumbo fund if not already I'd say, hard to lose now on that but won't pay that much. Jumbo money markets are almost as liquid as anything else, and I'd be liquid as much as possible now.

ETA NM, Jumbos jumped to over 100k min it looks now, fuck

Damn that sucks, I remember when 40k was enough.

A basic level money market account is usually still a 'safe haven' for 10k+, but it's all a mess.

Yes I understand consequences thank you. This isn't really relevant to the point I was making that in the immediate sense, we could if we wanted to.
