Trip Report: I was at a Trump protest yesterday
I wandered in quite by accident, hadn't heard about it beforehand. It was a lot of Boomers giving one last gasp of reliving the glory days of the 1960s. Same energy as those photos of Civil War vets meeting in the 1930s. Very different from the number of Boomers at the George Floyd protests.
The balance of the crowd were Gen YZ hipsters. No Black Bloc in evidence.
I saw a Handmaid, some creative costumes made of cardboard. I will say there were a lot of varied signs, didn't seem to be a lot of USAID/Soros distributed preprinted ones, so it was fairly organic. Lots of dangerhairs, not a lot of troons. Only one Ukran flag but more Canadian and Mexican ones. Surprisingly US flags here and there and lulzy stuff about democracy because they suddenly love the US. Half the hate was against Elon. Vance got a little rep tho. Lots of anti-ICE pro illegal stuff.
Heard some chants, even a classic "No TRUMP! No Peace! No Racist Po-LICE!" which gave me nostalgic feels

of watching riots live in 2020. At first I suspected the chant instigators were plants, but I did witness what appeared to be rando normies (judging from their conversations among themselves before and after) starting chants.
There were a lot of people there to be fair, but it was, like all large cities, in a highly leftist place, so no shock. I survived unscathed, nobody knew I was a
lesbian Deplorable chud Trump voter.
