The segment also brings up past sightings, The War Zone's reporting, and possibly connects 2019 sightings to a Hong Kong freighter.
Interesting. I'm going to latch onto this one and say that the drones over sensitive military installations may have been (most likely Chinese) spy drones, launched from somewhere on US soil. It would probably be easier to build a very sneaky and nimble flying machine for the purposes of taking photos if one were to sacrifice things like operational range. Min-max it to be incredibly small and fast and maneuverable, but also something you have to launch from the next forest over. I feel like this has some potential to be the grain of truth in this heap of bullshit?

Some time ago I would've been excited about Grush's position, but as things currently are I have no expectations. I mean, if recent "happenings" are anything to go by, then it's going to be either incredibly disappointing, or redacted to the point of obscurity, either way it's just more of the same. One could hope, but experience says not to.

Something's rotten because of the bogus claim in January that "drones" were "FAA approved", and no follow-up since. The 60 Minutes story helps put the sightings in context.

researching what, exactly
Particularly sophisticated Chinese drones being launched off the coast or on land would be absolutely wild. We have seen some arrests of Chinese nationals using singular off-the-shelf drones. Swarms of car-sized drones (if they really are that big) is next-level. Maybe not impossible given all the Chinese crap entering the country in shipping containers.

Even if the F-47 (Shouldn't it be 36?) does have alien mexican soviet ufo tech, it is still Boeing. It will crash. Mixing Roswell with Boeing will just make it double crash.

If it is Boeing, I ain't goeing, not even to hyperspace!
The entire history of UFOlogy was an elaborate scheme by Future Humans to troll Boeing. Our timeline was littered and ruined for the sake of a joke.

Ask a Pol (Matt Laslo): Rep. Burlison: “Hiring Grusch gives us the precision to do a rifle shot at" UAPs (archive) (Reddit)
“We'll see how much this town comes out and puts out all the stops,” Burlison says.

You're waiting for it?

“Right, and if it does then there'll be no questioning the fact that they're trying to hide this information,” Burlison says. “Hiring Grusch gives us the precision to do a rifle shot at this topic and try to get us the answers quick, and I like the fact that we do have this on a timeline of a four-month period.”

Caught our ear:

“When Grusch comes in we'll put together a plan, and if that plan includes doing a field hearing, then yeah,” Burlison says. “That's one of the things that we might talk about.”

Lue Elizondo & Christopher Mellon met with Representatives Luna, Burchett, and Burlison this week

Japan is currently holding a parliamentary general assembly hearing on UAPs with Chris Mellon, Tim Gallaudet and Rep. Eric Burlison in attendance. A former national security committee member says he was told to stop looking into this issue by his party leaders before, and now the stigma is gone.

i read the whole thing, and it was long, and hard to get through

this part made me want to vomit, it just reeks of deluded self importance and was hard to get through

if they had any answers they would supply them, it would greatly increase their funding
they are private citizens, hes not Grusch, so any answers they have they can supply immediately, but they dont
because they dont have one single answer, and they probably know they dont even need one anymore

this is just a variation of Macs "BECAUSE SCIENCE IS A LIAR SOMETIMES!" argument and is just so gay
If you've ever tried to capture something fleeting at great distance, you'll understand why raw data alone isn't always meaningful or convincing.

I don't think that the US government acts like it's in contact with aliens or even knows that they exist. I think that it acts afraid of UAPs in the same way as citizens for the same reasons. I think that it has a hundred times as much data as the we have, and all the data will look identical to the part that is available to the public. We're not going to learn what the government knows, we're only going to learn what it doesn't know. If it were possible for anything to show the truth to humanity, it would eventually happen to citizens, just like in all of our movies, because citizens will always outnumber and outpower government agents. It is completely rational, even moral, for them to hide their ignorance because their job means keeping up the appearance of control, and they're not going to have a real conversation about Unidentified Areal Phenomena until they're able to identify the Phenomena.

Drawing on some of the usual talking points, and assuming it's aliens: The "government" hasn't acted because it's not a monolith, there's only a handful of small factions that know most of everything, and they don't tend to include the "temporary employees" like the President and heads of agencies (Bush Sr. and Darth Cheney could be recent exceptions). There's no "good" time for #Disclosure when there's chaos across the globe, and there's definitely no good time to admit you know very little, which could explain the drone response. President Trump may be closer than any other President to attempting #Disclosure, due to his ego and war against the "deep state". It's his chance to force through big changes, damage opponents, and cement his legacy, but he has acted very cagey on the subject. Hopefully, he is waiting for the right time to strike and isn't completely clueless or being led around on a short leash.

If a government contractor has the nuts and bolts in their possession, then the big mystery is already solved! But there's little incentive to tell the citizens about technology more secret than the most secretive experimental war planes, as long as maintaining the status quo is easy. Revealing one part of the secret will lead to an cascade of additional information coming out as people will start leaking everything to mainstream journalists without fear. The usual suspects have implied that some of the alien technologies would be very useful for war (state actors) or terrorism (non-state actors). We don't have nukes being used all the time because the nonproliferation regime has kept most of the trade secrets under wraps while focusing on controlling fissile material. That could be undermined quickly if we had a non-fissile trigger used in a pure fusion weapon. One of the points you hear from people like Kevin Knuth is that UAP appear to be accelerating at hundreds/thousands of Gs, meaning there's a lot of energy involved if it's a real object. Meaning a useful energy source for weapons production, or you could just slam a UAP into a line of buildings like 9/11 on steroids. Any countermeasure would also have to use alien technology and would be more expensive, just as $1 million dollar missiles are used to counter $10,000 drones and so on.

I am still on the beliefs that if the US had working UFO tech, Trump would be President of the World yesterday.

Unless we think that Chyna and Russia and Cuba and Iran has their own secret UFO fleets as well.

If it is truly FTL capable aliens, we may need a million years of brain evolution to understand their tech, or at least submit to AI overlords who can do that faster.
If it is just sublight sleeper ships or probes, we are marginally less fucked but would still need a lot of time.

I recall Trump had trouble getting his own generals to obey him at least once. "They" aren't going to give him the keys to the spaceship without a fight.

It is alleged that Chyna and Russia have their own alien tech programs, definitely not Cuba and Iran. Even if they didn't, eviscerating their nuclear arsenals and militaries without informing the President would draw a lot of unwanted attention. If the tech is being used for anything, it might be covert operations against weak countries. North Korea may or may not qualify.

Advanced sublight spacecraft with antimatter could speed up to nearly 1c, before slowing down sometime in the second half of the journey. It could take like 12 of our years to travel 10 light years, while the occupants inside only experience 5 years due to time dilation, for example. I think light speed being a hard limit would make it less likely for us to be found and harassed in the first place, and confine activity to our own galaxy. If an alien could travel 1 billion light years in a very short time, then no galaxy is safe from billions of "nearby" galaxies.

Liberation Times: IMMACULATE CONSTELLATION: Is a Secret UFO Program Hidden in the White House? (archive) (ghost) (wayback) (Reddit - archive)
This article does some Corbell ballwashing, invokes Livelsberger, the Cybertruck bomber, before going into the meat of it:
According to sources familiar with the matter, IMMACULATE CONSTELLATION may not fall under the DoD at all.

Instead, it could be overseen by the National Security Council—the President’s principal forum for coordinating national security and foreign policy, uniting military, intelligence, and diplomatic agencies under a single executive umbrella.

This explanation would align with what journalist Jeremy Corbell has suspected.
...
If correct, it raises urgent concerns regarding a lack of action from the Trump administration and whether figures are attempting to thwart any investigations within the National Security Council and the wider defense and intelligence infrastructure.

HPSCI Ranking Member Himes on Grusch: “I took very seriously some of the allegations"
“I took very seriously some of the allegations he had and AARO and others investigated, and I don't see any evidence that there was any sweeping of things under the carpet. I asked specific questions about his specific testimony, and a lot of what he had was, first of all, hearsay, if you will. It wasn’t his personal experience. And secondly, a lot of this is misinterpretation of real things.

He gave Grusch the crazyface and Himes the official portrait. Typical Meanstreet.

The Liberation Times article I posted is a real brain twister. The Reddit comments are also funny. Why doesn't Russia just kill the Ukrainians with UFOs?

Why didn't the US blow up Soviet Russia decades ago?

Either they can't reverse engineer enough to get a working military vehicle, or they can't reverse engineer it at all.

It would be like giving the smartest alchemist of ye middle ages a full blown medical factory or chemical plant with no almanac or even a manual on what machine does what.

Also the closer you get to C, the more energy you need. It is an exponential fuel growth, and microdebris is a worry too.

It would be plain easier to go slower.

Imagine that your car would need 1 gallon of gas for making it from Cwcville to Innsmouth in a week. But for half a week it would need ten gallons. For a quater week 100 gallons.

We or an ai Neumann probe could do just well with fifth or quarter lightspeed and still colonise the whole galaxy in a relatively low timespan.

Deterrence.

I don't believe in ayy lmao tech or UFOs, but assuming it's real and both the US and USSR had it, their use would be like nukes. One side would be afraid to use their hyperadvanced bombs in fear of the other side doing the same.

Garry Nolan was threathened with death by someone at the White House. "I nearly broke down in tears". And: "Im part of Skywatcher. Hopefully we'll get better pictures or we'll get somebody to land". Lue Elizondo and Chris Mellon returned to the Hill last week for closed-door discussions with several lawmakers.

Ryan Graves recently received a report from a Boeing 737 that encountered a black, triangular UFO at 15,000 feet, coming within 500 feet of the aircraft during its climb. The object was larger than the 737 and was observed by both the pilot and co-pilot.

Jake Barber's Neighbors recorded 2 UFO videos and Jake confirmed that he recorded them too!

That worked with nukes once because Stalin got them fast, before ICBMs were a thing. There was a high chance of the Cheeki Breeki fighters catching intercontinental bombers.

For Ufo F-6000s and SU-6000 the only idea would be if that both sides reverse engineered and kept their UFO fleets built up at roughly the same rate.

But if every superpower had super secret UFOs, it would explain at least Cuba or Taiwan or Best Korea being under someone's ufo umbrella.

This is the one they are saying is censored, since the NASA link returns "403 Forbidden" now, but it was archived:
https://mars.nasa.gov/raw_images/787528/ (archive)
Archive.today will not grab the 403 page, but Ghostarchive and Megalodon did.

Something they didn't notice is that the URL for the JPEG still works ("Tic-Tac" is on the left side):

It may just be the server acting up, causing the fancy HTML pages to go down temporarily, and Redditors to start thinking with their tin-foil hats on:
Edit 2: It looks like it's not just this image which is unavailable. I can't get any of the raw images or their directory to load. I suspect it's a misconfigured server. Not necessarily anything malicious related to this image specifically. Time will tell.

There is some good news, though. I recently contacted AARO regarding a dramatic F-18 video that I recalled seeing years ago. To its credit, AARO is seeking to locate the video and submit it for declassification review by the Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review (DOPSR). This newfound willingness to be collaborative, when possible, is emblematic of the manner in which AARO has been transformed by the leadership of Dr. Jon Kosloski.
