Before this whole situation broke out, there were multiple videos of Karl acknowledging the claim that he does the drama grift for money (as is the case when he discussed that video game collector defending WATA and Billy at NERG 2023).
Karl usually responded by doing his usual schtick of playing the victim by bringing up his family and undersells how much he makes per video. So that begs the question, how much does Karl usually make?
In his video, “Video Game Collector Calls Me a Fraud”, Karl showed the amount he made on that first WATA video.

By the point of the Video Game Collector video’s upload (September 2022), the original WATA video had about about 1.7 million views.

That WATA video didn’t have a sponsor but what does that say for the videos that did have sponsors. Well, according to Karl in his Discord, he has a 5k minimum to accept a sponsor but sometimes makes as high as 15k per video from mobile game ads.
So, now we know why Karl loves his Dyslite and War Thunder ads. Generally speaking, Karl was able to make about 28k on videos that reach about 1.7 million views and have a mobile game as its sponsor (this definitely fluctuates based on the sponsor and when taking Youtube’s cut for ad revenue into consideration).
But it is funny to mention considering Karl criticized Billy for claiming that he made 30k per video in his video “Billy Mitchell Accusses Me of Fraud During Insane Rant”. However, it appears that there was truth to Billy’s statement.
Even funnier is that Karl was clamoring for sponsors as early as 2019 and pokes fun at mobile game ads.
“I want to keep it halfway respectable” lmao

I previously mentioned his hyper sensitivity to critics of his sponsors and here are more examples.

Everything with this guy always has to circle back to him hiding behind his family.

Long story short, this guy plays the victim card about his income from videos to his YouTube audience then flexes about the money he makes from videos in his Discord.
