Even if we set aside the fact that Trump's tariffs have
already gotten countries around the world agreeing to scale their own tariffs back (tariffs that, I must remind you, are
way higher than anything Trump proposed),
and corporations are already looking into setting up factories in the US again, Bob cannot actually state why tariffs won't work to protect domestic industry. Yeah, no shit, domestic industry isn't going to come back overnight, you can't just undo decades of selling out the heartland so number can keep going up with a stroke of a pen. But even so, why is it a bad idea to
try? Why is it such a bad thing to want to have America produce goods that the rest of the world wants again, instead of the cheap Chinese crap that's ending up in landfills when it breaks a month after you buy it? Why is it stupid to want a strong industrial base again?
Of course, we know the reason why Bob thinks this is a bad idea: because those are jobs of the Obsolete, and anything that allows the continued survival of the people who stole the Future He Earned must be eradicated.

The question is, can America be an even better moneymaking engine if we get rid of wokeness? The answer should be easy for anyone with an IQ higher than Bobby. And may I ask what concept isn't "weaponized" according to these people?
I agree, Lembas Eater, if you don't artificially hold people down through onerous regulations and red tape, or through shipping their jobs to other nations, they will flourish and produce wealth for your country. I'm glad to have a president that understands this and is working to help the entire nation prosper.
Wait, what were you talking about? Oh, you just meant something about oppressing darkies. Sorry, guess we're not on the same page after all.

Cinephiles, prepare to suffer.
Yep, looks like I was right on this one. Never underestimate the power of branding when it comes to kids' entertainment. It doesn't matter if it's generic slop, as long as it has something kids like in the title, they'll beg to see it. (Once again, Bob will fail to make the connection between this and the Mario movie.)
I look forward to having this conversation again in a few years if Michael Bay actually gets that Skibidi Toilet movie off the ground. God help us all.
