"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Good on the judge.

This is begging for an edit with some dumb, awful, obnoxious VTuber crap spliced in instead of the AI avatar.
I for one, believe that the justice system deserves having AI slop shoved down it's throat. It's already an unsalvagable broken mess, AI slop can only serve as an improvement

Good on the judge.
Teams introduced animated avatars you could customize to look like yourself(or anything really, who has both vitiligo and a prosthetic arm?) back in 2023, and work was pretty quick to say "no, fuck that" to anybody trying to use one during calls. what a waste of dev hours :story: The patrician option is still to screenshot yourself while on a call when not talking, and make that your background, nobody notices

Can you name an industry where citing a source means you have to pay them? Nothing here is copyright KF.
Paying people finders fees for valuable information is customary in every industry except for academia. Further more calling whether he does citing sources is pretty fucking generous. He essentially just summarizes threads aloud.

That's done by pay walling the actual info. Lexisnuxus doesn't post all the information on the clearnet and then put a crypto link at the bottom. The fact that the site exists in a perpetual superposition of free-for-all - just please cite it if you use it and OUR INFO THAT YOU USED TO ENRICH YOURSELF WITHOUT PROPER TRIBUTE OF YOUR BLOOD, UNDYING LOYALTY, and YOUR FIRSTBORN, makes the whole situation that happens over and over with every creator unnecessarily gay and repetitive.

Turkish Tim is a literal homosexual who only became popular after his entire channel became reading the Kiwi Farms into a microphone while making funny faces. If he wasn't a POS he'd kick back 10% for making his scam possible.
I can see why he took that stream down

Damn we're so rich our poor people are fat and don't want those jobs back.
Anyway, goods from China are better made at this point. If something is made in America it was made by our imported blacks and browns.
Hopefully this is all a ploy to just sneakily on-shore automated factories and the economic populists are played for fools.

Ah damn. I foolishly didn't say "e-mail or programming job."
Mechanics use computers too but people still see it as working with your hands or at least on-site.
“Can we deport more brown people now?”

“No, I have to make sure we fixed our trade imbalance with New Zealand.”

I'm curious about MATI opinion on the Trump supporters of tariffs. It seems like they just throw away basic sense economic ideas, and try their hardest to not see how the tariffs are retarded.

Recent Metokur tweet (inb4 "it's just a joke", he supports tariffs):

You can however easily find an actual article for this, not just a small clip and tweet.
The proposed zero for zero tariff is something the EU wanted for more than a decade, and it would be a thing already if Trump didn't kill it the first time he was in office.
So he tanked the economy, and the amazing, great Trump victory is that the EU might get what they always wanted, and Trump will walk back what he did in his first term.
Other G7 countries already have this deal:
>The EU charges average tariffs of just 1.6 percent on U.S. non-agricultural products, on a trade-weighted basis. But it does charge a higher tariff of 10 percent on imported American cars — although the U.S. is the only G7 country that still pays it because TTIP wasn’t concluded.

It's weird seeing how easy it is to find out this information, yet Trump is doing some epic negotiation tactic by turning investors away from the US. Even though he could have just asked for it, the EU wanted this too.

Not having tariffs in a geopolitical world of inequality is retarded. The zero for zero only makes sense for countries who don't need tariffs and who trade about equally in limited amounts and who share similar wages, taxes, and costs of living. Maybe you just don't understand that the point of tariffs is not to make shiny number on Wallstreet go up

Last month I was arguing with people, in the Shoeonhead thread, insisting Trump won because prices were too high first and foremost. Now it’s inverted.

In the best case they treat the economic question as a political science question and sound like foreign policy realists (but for trade and not a war). In the worst case they think stocks are fake like they’re a peasant. It's easy to read between the lines and see narrative overtaking reason. For example they earnestly believe the US isn’t an incredibly rich country when our poor like eating out a lot.

Anyway, I hope I’m wrong but Trump’s tariff guy, the one making the rounds, sounds like a retard so it’s becoming hard.

You know that investors leaving isn't just "Wallstreet go up" (or down in this case)?
But also, this is a good example of what I was talking about. Nothing of substance, not addressing anything I said, just "Trump's tariff good!".
Meanwhile a clearly visible effect of it being shit, but that's just some Wallstreet number, who knows what that mystical thing is.

But also, you clearly think Trump is absolutely retarded then, right? If zero for zero makes sense for the EU, then he is stupid for destroying it, and also stupid for introducing tariffs to get it back on the table, since EU would do it anyway.

I hope the economy crashes and all the H1-B immigrants are forcefully deported after losing their jobs.
Do you think only immigrants and the rich investors will feel this, or is it possible that this would lead to a bunch of Americans losing their jobs, generally higher prices and less (and less paying) jobs will be created in the future? It's already mostly Americans feeling the economic impact. Oh and Trump and his billionaire friends (who support importing workers) will probably fire higher payed American workers first.

Kinda like shooting into the crowd, killing a dozens of people but cheering when you realize a couple of them were immigrants.

I don't care what happens to anyone as long as the immigrants are gone. Once the immigrants are gone we can have a round table discussion about the next steps. This is not a table trick. There's no way to pull it off without upsetting people. Everything has to be rebuilt from the ground up with the expectation that this will not be an economic zone for jeets and Muhammadeens.
