My man, you don't even ship your mediocre comics on time, also, all the comments on that video are just people either rambling about AI, which I don't care enough about to comment on, or are some variation of calling Eric dumb.

I just wanted to highlight this absolute brain trust. "Sloth is called a deadly sin for a reason." Eric is one of like 4 people in Comicsgate that is actually industrious you dumb cunt. Richard, in contrast, has a reputation for being terribly late on everything, and instead of apologizing and trying to improve, constantly posts cope about how it is to ensure the amazing quality of The Expendables, and The Expendables with all the serial numbers filed off, Jawbreakers.

I don't know how anyone unironically follows Richard anymore, I really don't.

I thought he was agreeing with Richard that it would be an actual process to make AI into worthwhile stuff, but I see what you mean. I think I misread it because I was rolling my eyes so hard at Rich's initial post.

It turns out that I'm the dumb cunt.

It’s funny how he tries to position himself as this grizzled futurist who’s really thought this AI thing through, when just two weeks ago he was bragging about making a comic in a week using AI tools while not knowing how to right click on a pirate comic site or open Battlepacks in Battlefield 4.

Erick July doing fulfillment and hitting deadlines is the exact thing that’s earned him trust from his fanbase. It doesn’t make him right about everything, but it does mean people are more likely to listen to him.

I was just browsing around Alibaba and those are about 30 cents each in bulk. The sad thing is real metal diecast that size is also available about the same price. The packaging was more expensive.

He meanders a lot and even mentions the amount of bird noises in the background so losing track of what he's saying isn't surprising. I think Ya Boi Zack thinks he owns AI commentary on Youtube and everyone who talks about it needs to run it by him first. Basically, he gives out what you are allowed to say about AI and you need to run your script and your video format by the raving homeless man before you can put it up. Even then he can probably change his mind.

I have a theory. Richard thinks he's going to be making comic books using AI soon. But if any old person can put prompts into AI and get the comic they want, where does he fit in? Well, obviously the answer is he doesn't. So he wants AI to be this esoteric programming discipline where he's one of the few people who really understand it.
