The Economic Collapse of 2025 - Are you tired of winning yet?

I’m not saying “do nothing.” I’m saying if you want to play hardball, you better have infrastructure, labor plans, and federal investment ready to go, or else you’re not rebuilding manufacturing, you’re just setting the whole system on fire and praying something better rises out of the ashes.
We don't have the population, raw materials, capital, or interest in being a primarily industrial country.
At what point does one realize that you are just spiralling down? To everthing people bring up as a problem with the tariffs you can respond with "but what alternatives do you have?".

Do you think companies will build factories in the US if it's cheaper to open up factories in other countries and hiring the local pajeets to run it? You will never have infrastruscture built without any incentives to do so.

Do you want the government to invest in infrastructure or manufacturing? That's nice but then you are guaranteed to operate on a loss because you can't compete with the whole "make it somewhere else for a dime and sell it to the US for a dollar" loop.

I'm European. I still recognize the US could nuke/conventionally destroy every nation on this planet if they didn't hold back for political reasons. The only reason the Houthis aren't a footnote in the history books and a pile of ash on the desert floor is because the US doesn't want a war with Iran right now.
So... the US can defend free trade, but the second it runs into any opposition, it will just cower back to avoid conflict?

Now that's what I call power!

It will always be cheaper until you reach Sakoku because the American economy is the most overinflated and the American worker the most overpaid in the world. If you want competitive domestic production, you need a massive reduction in wages or huge subsidies.
You will never have infrastruscture built without any incentives to do so.
Where are the incentives? Other than an import tax he has said nothing about public investment, or a plan for subsidies, or anything at all.

Why do you think the administration has been pushing to claim Canadian Providences and Greenland? As for population the United States demographics are better than almost the entire planet when it comes to sustainable population. Europe china and most of asia will be cratering in population in 20 years

Just because cost is a hurdle doesn't mean you need to kneecap your entire population. This is to sacrifice the future and prosperity of your population in order to buy iPhones and rampant consumerism. You can lower costs through innovation but cost alone shouldn't be the sole reason you sell out your country for cheaper shit. And for not making everything the United States should try to cut as much foreign dependency as possible just for national security
Every country is. Plus, again, many things can only be made in certain parts of the world, including growing plants.

Many electronic components also specifically HAVE to be produced in Europe or Japan due to the advanced technologies and workers needed for their production.

Stating "America needs to be independent because national security" is a horrible argument, because trade is intended to benefit the countries, not hurt them. EU is a very good example of many smaller independent economies, united together via trade and regulations.

America isn't self sufficient. No country really is.
Thing is, is that we used to be and can be if it came down to it.

This will mean that basically anything in America will be a lot more expensive, because, while some stuff IS made in America, barely anything is SOLELY made in America.
Everyone already knows this and considered the potential long term benefits than the potential short term pain

Plus, why do you expect stuff to be made in Anerica when the minimum wage is still $7,25
No one pays minimum wage in the US, not even McDonalds. Even fucking fast food workers are earning around $15 now. Mimum wage has been used as nothing but a shitty political wedge issue by democrats these days.

What did Trump do? Eliminate the education department
The Department for Education has absolutely fucking nothing to do with how schools are ran in the US. All the DoE does is manage federal student loans and distribute federal funds to schools.

We going back to the gold standard? Maybe?
Damn more time goes on more the stupid retarded Chan post sound more plausible.

This is very retarded, and there hasn't been a single country in history that has pulled off economically isolating itself, even when low skilled labor could still let a man purchase a livable house and maintain his family mostly on his paycheck alone and world trade was minimal and for luxury goods only.

Hilariously enough, china is a very famous example of what being a retard will do to a country, millions starved to death, and while it's impossible for america to reach those levels of poverty unless this persisted for a decade or two (which will not happen lmao, the jeets and corpos will cannibalize trump and whoever tries to). Trump cut amercia's legs and told it to somehow keep running and pray to god that it's legs grow back

america will never produce at the same level that china does, and trump will never force corpos to pay americans livable wages while doing sweatshop work, even if a good chunk of the rednecks and blacks who live off of eating fried chicken of suspicious origin and piss beer would be willing to expose themselves to chemical burns, lead posoning and asbestos for the ability to buy an extra pair of foam special edition jordans, that would still not be enough

YOU WILL PAY 12$ FOR AN EGG AND LIVE WITH THREE JEETS IN A ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT AND YOU WILL LIKE IT

The last time Europe had and true conflict was 80 years ago and Ukraine. The invasion of Iraq was a joke in the show of actual force. Most Europeans do not actually understand warfare or violence. Why should we go to war with Iran besides boomer or European comfort belief blood lust?

Foreigners fear the cryptojeet rugpuller will rugpull them? Good luck getting loans after this.

Did you miss when Trump tweeted (truthed?) that /pol/ schizopost about crashing the economy on purpose? They're writing his policy on the fly.

Yeah maybe when I wake up you'll have an actual argument to anything I've said, or are you waiting on a us rep to give you one for free you can use?
So, you paid a few million dollars to the BBC, whoop-de-doo, I'm not even British.
I didn't reply to what you said because it's schizo babble about imaginary countries with health-care systems 100% fully funded by the US or some shit, you didn't even provide examples just babbled about some Ugandans or some shit enjoying the best health care in the world on your dime... pure senile talk.

This is exactly what i mentioned ..but that being said, i did miss the man tweeting about it.

That was for a biden era grant that mainly focused on making them more environmentally friendly whereas other grants survived. Still knee-jerk since iirc were not at net zero madness like other countries meaning biden had to actually offer something of utility and it would have still reinvigorated and extended the lifespan of the equipment but a bit more at play optically than just viewing grants as communism

We have all these things, we do still have some factories and have had them before you know so we have the materials at least. I can see the argument for the rest but america has raw materials, quite a lot for quite a variety of manufactured goods.

Yeah maybe when I wake up you'll have an actual argument to anything I've said, or are you waiting on a us rep to give you one for free you can use?
I'm sorry, you're wrong.

I work adjacent to construction. The amount of work for tradesfolk during the Biden administration was huge. We are still working on jobs from that administration. This is in part because of the back log from covid, but also subsidies, and the work was affordable.

The prices of precious metals we need for construction are already rising. We have equipment used in everything from warehouses, data centers, hospitals, and car factories on 6 month back order. If that shit suddenly costs 100-150%, what was the brightest outlook for the trades in 30 years will quickly turn to shit.

I'm sorry and your country's naval response isssssssss
. EU is a very good example of many smaller independent economies, united together via trade and regulations.
The eu also undermines democratic will of its host nations and imports millions of rapists, actuslly a horrible example of how trade reliance can be a shackle or even a lock into the guillotine or worse
Many electronic components also specifically HAVE to be produced in Europe or Japan due to the advanced technologies and workers needed for their production.
For now, or even if it's forever that's always been the case thst not every country csn make everything, it's just right now we make little and own little, we need to get back to making something
So, you paid a few million dollars to the BBC, whoop-de-doo, I'm not even British.

I didn't say we funded your healthcare systems faggot I said we fund the shit like defense that allows you to then fund your Healthcare systems. And no we objectively funded australiam universities they had an entire emergency meeting over the fact thst we stopped doing it . So you can either stop being such a miserable little bitch or you csn actually respond to reality.

All I've seen you do is be a retard snd try to guilt trio Americans over how poor you are as if that means we csnt be ripped off just because you failed harder at making a country
