Can someone explain to me the whole "INSIDER TRADING!!!" cope I'm seeing from butthurt panicans who lost all their funko pop money? I don't even understand their theory of what he did wrong. As far as I understand insider trading is trading based off of non public knowledge, or giving that knowledge to someone else for the purpose of them trading on it. Doesn't announcing something on twitter make it public? Like the exact fucking opposite of "insider"? Literally any human being with access to the internet had the ability to read the President's tweet and act or not act accordingly. I know at this point the 26%ers are just rabidly reflexively foaming at the mouth and tourettesing out that every single thing he does is illegal, but this one is so dumb I can't even see any underlying argument.
Let me explain in a song:

Its just cope. the left / uniparty is throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.

You spent so long defending the tariffs only for Trump to get rid of them. This is not temporary he is getting rid of them despite what he says.
You seem disassociated from reality, and delusional.

See above, they truly believe they're telepathic clairvoyants, while simultaneously getting everything exactly 180 degrees from reality.

It's like millions of Jim Cramers.

From my uneducated point of view:
Trump puts out tariffs: The US may bring manufacturing back into America and encourage quality again.
Trump puts out tariffs, then backs off if the countries drop theirs: America is no longer being bullied with tariffs.

Seems like a win-win for me, though I prefer jobs coming back to North America where slave labor, extra pollution (China's pollution actually affects the state of living, unlike the US's), sweat shops, low quality, and dictatorships aren't as much of a thing/are illegal.

About how America need illegals to come over and do the work we supposedly don't wanna do. Like manual labor, picking fruit, cleaning bathrooms, et. al.
Kelly Osborne telling Trump on the View in 2015 we need latinos to clean toilets

We're into the second decade of TDD.. OMFG :lossmanjack:

Eh, the general opinion is that Iran is relatively weak at the moment due to them propping up various goatfucker insurgent groups in other countries and they are also fairly well scouted by their enemies. Also, they've recently sold a bunch of their weapons to Vlad for his disastrous invasions of assorted Ukrainian backwater villages so they have fuck all ordinance on hand.

Any military action by the US would be a bunch of rapid decapitation strikes that lead to Iran essentially begging them to stop before they got to the people who are actually running things over there.
More importantly really, the "forevor" part only comes from the nation building attempts. The war parts of iraq and Afghanistan were over within a month with basically no losses... if the goal is "go in, blow up thing we don't want them to have, leave" that's an easy task.

That's pretty easy to fix. For one thing, when China has to ship to the other country, that's automatically a tax on their profits. We don't get the money, but China loses it, so it's still a win for us.

Then, this 2nd country is going to want some sort of bribe from China, so that's a little less profit for China. Again, we don't get the money, but China loses it, so another win.

3rd, this other country that's working for China will have at least 10% tariff on it, so that's more money lost for China, and this time we DO get it, so it's win/win for us.

Finally, if this whole 2nd party shipping scheme turns out to still be profitable enough for China to do it, we WILL find out, and Trump will simply raise the tariff on the 2nd party country in order to make it no longer profitable to China and to punish that country. China may slip a few shipments by this way, but they won't get away with it for long, and any country who's willing to try it will probably get more punishment than profit.

I mention this because this has been in progress since the original tariff spat during Trump's first term. I pray they make ending the laundering a point of emphasis on all negotiations with SEA countries where most of this product is laundered from.

We were sold this bill of goods before, it resulted in ISIS taking over in Syria, Shias taking over in Iraq, and the Taliban taking over in Afghanistan after a combined 35 years of occupation and over a trillion dollars spent.

Also, can anyone explain to me what the fuck is going on in this story and why it's on The Hill?
>Government says restore Mel's gun rights
>bureaucrat bitch says no
>Government fires bitch
>bitch gets mad and plans to testify about how fascist her firing was
>Government sends agents to her house to serve her papers to dissuade her testifying
>bitch has a freak out about agents, claims its intimidation
>queue every rag picking up the story to scream about Trump's fascism or some shit

Ya know, in any other job in the private sector you would get fired for not doing what your superior tells you to do.

I wish that God exists so that every fucking banker in this country can roast in hell for all eternity. I want to see their flesh bubble and crack like pork rinds over and over again for a million years. I want to eat fresh cooked banker pork rinds. If God is Good I hope my humble prayer be answered.

You want to use tariffs just enough to stop other countries from undercutting your industry, because competition often IS good. Just keep things competitive.

In the case of China, they’re grotesque and need to be cleansed with fire
