Not from Australia, but likely would depend on their statues. Here where I live you can't really appeal based on ineffective counsel, but you can sue for damages if they were incopetent, it can even fuck up your license if it was egregious enough.

Anyone that understands Aussie lawfare can say if there's provisions for appealing over it?

Check the Karl thread, I found Karl talking about not talking to his dead for 10 years, he died last year.
He also does not talk to his mother or anyone else from his family.

He has a real issue with authority and being told what to do it seems.

It must have been a real pleasure representing him against Billy.

Considering he doesn't talk to them, they probably heard about this from the myriad of news articles about it. I can imagine that step dad just shaking his head seeing that his attempt at trying to keep this sperg from destroying his life over video games was a futile endeavor.

This was painfully boring to sit through, but curiosity got the better of me. Is this faggot really trying to pivot away from gaming content and act like he's an expert on defamation law the same day he got pink socked in a defamation case? Was it supposed to be an April fools joke? Did he think he could just continue on like nothing happened and no one would question anything? What the fuck is wrong with him?

If I had to guess, Karl probably had it set to upload automatically anticipating that he would win and therefore get a bunch of traffic to his channel. So having a new video right then would have allowed him to hoover up all the ad revenue. Then when he lost he was so buck broken by the case that he forgot to cancel it being posted.
