It looks very straight forward and combat looks by the letter cookie cutter god of war / spiderman.
So damn boring.
I think I saw an option that said you could even turn combat off...

In addition to the standard sorts of difficulties you can select, which include both a “story” and “easy” option on the lower end, you can also select the option to be able to skip boss fights, regular fights, and chase sequences. This doesn’t do away with them; you still enter into combat like normal, but at any time during the fight you can press a button and just be done with it.

Just read a fucking book at that point?

The fucking keybinds reset to default every time you open the game.
That sounds like an actual bug. Even DEI can't make you that incompetent.
A black woman, who picks cotton to level up. You could genuine make a good game with this concept unfortunately it's wasted by hacks who wanted to make movies.
I don't know if idle games are as popular as they used to be, but Plantation Master seems like a no brainer. Don't forget to use your buck bux to buy the best slaves to sodomize.

We're reaching gaming journalist levels I thought were not possible. Then again, who the fuck is going to play this other than them? They had to celebrate a cosplayer even bothering to dress up as one of their characters and quickly shipped her one of the many copies of the game(and a game console in case she didn't have one) they have in the warehouse in hopes she would advertise this piece of shit.

Has anyone been following the release of the indie game "Blue Prince"?
This Thrusday the game was release after some very high praises from Journos.
Many Journos called it one of the best puzzle games of all time, a GOTY contender. Compared it to fan favorites like Outer Wilds and Obra Dinn.
The games got 93 on metacritic, and currently has the highest score of the year.

Now that the actual people have played it, the game sits at a "Mostly Positive" 78% on steam.

So what happened, why such a large discrepancy?
Turns out the developers are from Hollywood and used to make ads for large corpos

The Blue Prince is currently free on PS+ so it must have been a day one release. I watched the trailer and it didn't look particularly interesting, but I might give it a go and report back with my findings.

I fell for the bait and got the game. It's not bad, but it's more like a 6/10 - 7/10.
They advertised it as a genius puzzle game, but it's more like a resource management roguelite. The game is all about trying to get resources to continue exploring the mansion, while praying for RNGesus to get good rooms to progress. IT gets really annoying after some time, and winning is very rng dependent.

Remember, game journos can't even get past a simple double-jump "puzzle" in a platforming game's tutorial, so when they call anything "genius level" take it with a heavy pinch of salt. For all you know, they mean Veilguard's puzzles, which are more akin to shoving square shaped objects in square shaped holes.

This almost guarantees I'll hate it then. I cannot stand games where my success is dependent on luck rather than skill, but I can see why journos would love a game that gives them a cop-out for why they suck at everything.
