No surprise it ended up being an absolutely failure
Their bolt-actions were pretty good however, the Lebel was by all means outdated after WW1 but the Kropatschek tube magazine system was very useful in a slow trench warfare conflict. 10 rounds is nothing to scoff at, especially with full-power rifle cartridges.
The Berthier was "okay" at best, but the intial iterations only fit a measly 3 rounds in the integrated magazine. En-bloc clip was okay as well but it didn't have any auto ejection system (like the Mannlicher and Carcano) which would probably be a hassle in the battlefield

Looks like it's a temp.

Stop being so picky, it was used in WW1 as well, I know it wasn't the main rifle (that award goes to the P14/17) but it still counts, mmkay?
A1 denotes the rifle being fitted with a pistol grip stock (I believe the change was made in the late 20s), however I am mostly being an pedant. Funnily enough while the M1917 was the mainstay of the US Army, the USMC were almost entirely issued M1903s. Really adds to the joke "The marines at Guadalcanal carried the same rifles their dads carried in Belleau Wood."

You are jealous because you are never gonna get the tropyView attachment 7210526
Nobody wants that trophy, this site is designed for anonymous ontopic lolcow posting. If you unironically want this trophy, especially with Tiffany, I suggest you log off and find a real life woman to be with.
