No, not at all. Because they are fucking BRAINDEAD MORONS who crave their own destruction. Because the endless fucking tranny brigade, because being a coastal elitist, and above all their addiction to cheap NOWNOWNOW garbage come above all logic and rationality. I did not know I could be this viscerally disgusted but here I am.
These are probably the same people that speak out against record profits by Corporate America while regularly buying cheap junk on Teemu and other related platforms because its trendy or some "inflluencer" insisted it was good stuff and something every cool person must have.

It is difficult to buy American when the prices appear significantly higher and the budget is lean. However, it's also the right thing to do to encourage what US companies still make stuff to keep doing so because there's enough interest and demand to justify staying in business. I'd rather pay a little more whenever possible if it means the product won't fall apart after a short time because cheap products often mean corners are cut and quality has been sacrificed to flood the market with cheap mass-quantities of inferior goods.

While Cheap Chinese shit certainly isn't helping, Joann's got fucked over by the Venture Capitalist loophole. They got control of Joann's, sold Joann's real-estate to the VC's parent company for a song, who then rented the space to Joann's at a huge markup, siphoning as much money out of the company as possible.
VC should stand for Vulture Capitalists because they circle struggling companies before they're invited to swoop in to strip the company of its assets and intellectual property to let it die in bankruptcy while they keep the good stuff for themselves to sell to another sucker or hold onto it to keep competitors from acquiring the leftovers.

Apparently the proper term isn't VC it's "Private Equity."
Wordsmithing at its finest.

Since Trump has always been a media personality, it makes sense that there's a difference between how we see him in public and how he is in more private settings. There were always small hints and snippets of it during his first term. I'm glad someone with some reach and influence also got a chance to see that.
Trump the businessman, politician, or celebrity is going to have his public blustering persona. It's who he is in the public eye and it reflects what he believes in term of negotiating and deal-making.

When it comes to private matters, he'd definitely more subdued. In one of the last seasons of Celebrity Apprentice I watched, one of the celebs was possibly dealing with addiction at the time. Trump actually offered to help the celeb enter rehab if that was what they wanted. As others have expressed either in this or other threads, Trump seems to have a deep down desire to try to help people as best he can even if his public persona doesn't always show it or make it clear.

Not in a single fucking way. They tried the exact same playbooks. Run a woman. Run a black, that worked before. Don't campaign and just keep her "safe" from any danger of showing her opinion, that worked with Biden. If we include abstract labels that worked before they'll work now, right? Right??
I'm convinced the Dems, having to come up with a candidate on short order, picked someone who ticked off enough socially-acceptable check boxes that appealed to their progressive voting bloc with the hope - and expectation - of a slam dunk victory on Election Day. Harris proved to be a lousy speaker whose only talking point boiled down to, "I'm not Trump," and did little to appeal to the independent and undecided voters she'd need to claim victory. Nevertheless, the Dems continue to double, triple, and quadruple down on identity politics and all the things that drove voters away from both their candidate and even the party.

Work visas have always been a thing. In the case of agribusiness, there's H2-A seasonal work visas. For housekeeping, the H2-B case is a lot shakier.
I see no problem with foreign nationals crossing the border legally to work these jobs if they have the proper visa/paperwork. Those that want to enter illegally and work those jobs should be told, "No." Either do it right if you want the work or not at all.

"Very quickly", sure. That's the whole crux of this problem, and why people are criticizing these tariffs. You people think it's going to happen very quickly. Factories don't just magically appear from nothing. Old mines are not just activated on the snap of fingers. You don't procure workforce with know-how in an instant. This stuff takes years, even decades. Like I said, if the US is going to have the same mindset going forward for the next few decades, I can see this making some sense for Americans. The thing is, most of this stuff is going to be reversed in 4 years at the latest, and you have achieved fuck all but made every American more poor.
ISO Standard Doom poster. Go suck the girldick.

>Trump hikes China tariffs to 30% and then 84%
>China reciprocates
>Trump hikes tariffs to 145%
>China reciprocates
>Trump announces that he wants Xi to call him
>China does nothing
>Trump announces he would be ready to "make a deal"
>China does nothing
>Trump rolls back tariffs

can the ppl suffering from trump dicksucking syndrome let me know how this is helping americans? i cant see it
A majority of electronics are produced in vietnam and taiwan, in fact taiwan produces 60% of the entire worlds supply of semiconductors, what do you mean rolled back

Yeah, if you are simply thinking about how dollar fairs against euro. Instead of what the potential added cost of manufacturing stuff in America is going cause. All those specialiced minerals for an example, that America mostly imports from China.
This is where tariffs will help. Mountain Pass produces 15% of global rare earths, with environmentalist faggots doing everything possible to inhibit production. In the US, when you do any large scale mining, people invoke the term “strip mining” and make you watch Fern Gully while wearing a Peter Pan costume

Now we can tell them to fuck off, because we like money and we like defense

Yeah, sure. But US electronics imports come 33% from China, whereas the numbers for Taiwan and Vietnam are 6% and 4% respectively

I know it sucks to burst your bubbles.
Because China uses state subsidies and targets our industry in the manufacturing version of what business guys call “hostile takeover.”

This is all recent, too. I’d gladly go back to buying Japanese consumer electronics like the 90’s and 2000’s. They historically have manufactured the video game consoles of freedom, where Chinese gooklets only learned about video games from gacha shit on huawei phones with exploding batteries

It’s disgusting to have chinesium around

Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett is now under investigation by the FEC over donations made to her campaign through the leftist fundraising organization ActBlue.

Evidence reportedly shows that an individual donated to her campaign over 50 times without their knowledge, suggesting that donations were being given under false names. Crockett received over $870,000 in total donations through ActBlue.

And that is absolutely a fair take. I too would prefer to buy European products, when they are available and especially for a reasonable price. The collective problem for all of the west is that we have sold our soul for the Chinese to improve our lives, to the point that we are now dependant on that nation. A nation run by authoritarians, communists (though in name only), who are no doubt eyeing global domination at some point.

The idea of bringing back production and manufacturing from China to the US and Europe is something we should strive towards. I merely disagree with the way Trump is doing it, because I don't see how it really going to produce results. Instead, it just makes us all poorer.
