Night Mind could be involved, yet part of me doubts it, as there are very explicit, overt themes about using media to corrupt children, which seems antithetical to a furry faggot like himself, plus the evil cult leader is explicitly a black guy which feels like one of those things such a “progressive” voice would naturally avoid. Not saying he can’t still be involved in some way, though.

It’s still the weirdest bit: The game itself looks so fucking generic. It’s like if Local58, one of the greatest examples of the YT horror genre, all turned out to be promotion for some shitty FNAF clone. The promotion is clearly better than the actual product itself.

To be fair, Nightmind would do nothing but brag about his involvement if he was involved. The guy is pretty much a narcissist who sees himself as an authority on internet horror and I feel being involved in that type of project would only fuel his massive ego.

Like this is the same guy who gamejack'd someone else's ARG and made it all about themselves.

I can only assume the actual game part was meant to suplement the ARG and not the other way around? I've never ONCE seen marketing be this in depth ever since the fucking Blair Witch Project.

I remember that. It was so stupid I stopped watching his channel. Nick was a good summary for lengthy ARGs or stuff made years ago, but his ego is so massive he lost himself in the character. He also blatantly shills bad webseries and calls them 'unfiction'; I suspect a bunch of people make behind-the-curtain deals with him to be featured.

I am curious if his vtuber grift will lead to drama, but I refuse to watch that faggot furry again.

Personally I think Nightmind seeks them out just to seem pretentious and different.

Welcome Home is a good example since the creator wanted it to be niche until Nightmind made it too popular that it overwhelmed the original creator.

Also I won't be surprised that his vtuber thing causes drama given that he ruined his friendship with Nyx Fears by touching them creepily on stream

He saw a massive downturn for a few reasons:
- Picking shitty content to cover to the point it was clear he was being paid to advertise shit ARGs/webseries
- The Jack Torrance thing being utterly unwatchable and forcing himself in as the MC
- Pushing the furry shit constantly, talking about his fursuit and furry cons and fetish shit
- Pretending he participated in The Cry of Mann when he really just copy pasted ideas from other people in the community and passed them off as his own, he would end up doing the same with Petscop too.
- Trying to put Nexpo down on twitter when Nexpo just started and coming off as utterly unhinged and jealous of Nexpo's success while NM was very clearly on a decline both viewership and Patreon money wise.
- Nyx stuff, but I think most people accepted they were both weirdos and nobody outside of Tumblr troons really gave a fuck.

He got a lot of good will and viewership back because his Shipwrecked64 vid was pretty good, it's absurd to me he's going down the furry vtuber rabbit hole knowing full well the degeneracy shit is what killed him the first time.

The Shipwrecked video was fucking awful if you actually tried using it how he claimed you should use it. He tried saying “Play it yourself, and use this video if you’re stuck”, and what you get when using it is an extremely dry, explicit guide video which doesn’t let you actually figure things out yourself, which is a major part of the experience. He always tried saying “Oh, you should experience it yourself, this video isn’t a replacement for it”, yet it always, always is.

It leaves a gross taste in my mouth that some of the only people making creepypasta content is all just awful people, and somehow the fans forgot.

Seriously check the comments of mrcreepypasta they act as if he never scammed people, cheated on his wife, or tried to copyright the word "creepypasta" with VVC. It's even worse for creepsmcpasta and creepypasta jr (dead channel lol) everyone has already completely forgotten that he's a pedophile/groomer and that creepypasta jr was sending weird gore and fetish pictures to kids too.

Probably doesn't help you have the sperg slime boy (I refuse to name him as he incessantly searches his own name and feels the need to reply to everything.) acting unhinged constantly.

God I sometimes like this guy's stuff but find the constant leaving in bloopers and line flubs in the middle of the video to be really annoying
