Daily reminder that LGBTQ+ activism and supporters of said activism can scientifically turn you psychotic:

Wrt the origins of "SJW":

I first ran across it in the early to mid 2000s LiveJournal fandom (definitely by the time RaceFail happened). Then, it was used to pick fans who used social justice activism jargon and tactics to gain fandom brownie points.

Jealous someone's favorite ship was more popular than yours? Label said ship "problematic ", write a multi-part post on why and your BNF-hood / ship popularity is guaranteed!

Did they believe in the same BS as SJWs of Current Year, like "privilege" and "cultural appropriation"? Or was it more of that "political correctness" that "social justice" mutated from? Either way and based on what you said, they did not have mainstream influence until Current Year. I did not know about SJWs until sometime around "GamerGate".
Yes. All the SJW words were used in the feminist blogosphere and hipster-punk(?) scenes throughout the 2000s. They were used for stuff like "It's okay that I'm a size 6 instead of a size 0. Not everyone is Kate Moss" and "please don't dress up as 'A Mexican' at my halloween party, Dutch exchange students" and "You're not a failure in life if you have a crush on another woman". Much like ayahuasca, once it became mainstream, things got out of hand.

White liberals love black activism, but I always find it funny that they don't particularly like black people.

I forgot how much they really like pretending everything that people point out them doing never happens. Do you know how many whites probably called blacks race traitors during the election because they voted for Trump? How many whites think they know how to speak to minorities and not realizing what they're doing?

It never happened, everyone. It's all an alt right dog whistle.

For God's sake, the BLM riots was the epitome of it all. Showed the true colors of many, both black and white. Many blacks manipulated and grifted the ever loving mess out of the event whilst a lot of whites grandstanded and groveled onto their knees like they're a bunch of peasants just so they won't lost their jobs or established career. Can't believe all of that was half a decade ago.

I'm telling y'all. BLM worsened race relations by a number that even actual racists can't compete with.

And here I thought that "punks" were always anti-establishment.

Turns out they just wanted a different kind of establishment...

Don't forget!

lmao

"he thinks he is being clever by trying to prove that we will publish anything by a marginalised person regardless of how trash it is, which we will do by the way"

who was that physicist in the 90s who deliberately wrote essays full of gibberish for philosophy magazines in order to prove they would publish anything so long as it was incomprehensible enough to sound smart
