I think the explanation is much simpler than that. The USA wasn't as involved in WWI, but was involved in both major theaters of WWII. Of course we're going to be more interested in something we were not only involved in, but were instrumental in winning. The weapons it was fought with also make it more interesting as WWI devolved into trench warfare as military tactics hadn't quite caught up with technological advances yet. By WWII there were significant advances in armored vehicles, airplanes, naval vessels, and weapons. By the end of the war atomic weapons had been developed and used to devastating effect. WWII is the big Hollywood sequel to the well made budget film that was WWI.

Even at the time, the alien nature of the politics of WWI made it hard to justify to Americans. Wilson tried to frame it as a war for "democracy," the one small problem being that Russia was the least democratic of any major power involved. In fact, Wilson himself expressed confusion and dismay to the UK regarding their alliance with Russia, since to him, it made no sense for democracies to ally with autocracies.

On a personal level, I've been interested in both world wars since I was a preteen, and despite having multiple books at my disposal, I didn't fundamentally grasp what WWI was about until I was in my twenties, as I was finally old enough to understand political systems and conflicts fundamentally different to anything in my own experience in American democracy. At minimum, you need to at least know who the Hohenzollerns, Osmans, Romanovs, Windsors, and Habsburg-Lorraines are and what was going on with their respective dynasties to make sense of the thing. Most Americans don't even know what the Ottoman Empire was at all.

The fact that the video isn't being played 24/7 on MSNBC means the footage looks very bad for the nigger.
Well yeah, there was a bunch of witness around. You don't stab someone in the heart for telling you you are seated in the wrong spot. You verify, stand up and move a few seats over. Unless you are a violent, retarded feral nigger

I hate the news so much. Nobody can give a single statement without some faggot journoscum begging to interrupt a second they start talking. I would immediately lose my shit if somebody did that shit to me.

In any case, if we're going to start selling corn to India we're going to have to make a lot more sacrifices. You get this joke instead of the one about corn in shit so be thankful.

This really feels like the last dying breath of the blm movement. Jordan Neely was probably the knockout punch, this is like the fingers twitching as the life leaves the corpse.
BLM never truly goes away, just comes and goes in waves. 1800s were unrelated and uncoordinated assortment of race riots. Then you had the tearing down of racial barriers in the 20th century that came along with the civil rights movement. This would cascade into the LA riots and what we would recognize as BLM politics taking form all thanks to Rodney King. 2020 was just the boiling tensions between the black community and the rest of society that have built up over the 2000s and 2010s and finally exploded thanks to the patron Saint of Fent, George Floyd. I'm sure once we get another image of a poor black man getting oppressed by police the mob of love will rally again to burn down another Denny's.

China Observer is an anti-CCP channel fyi. They are sort of in the sphere of the China Show (a 2 man channel dedicated to talking about how shitty their time living there and dealing with the ccp was. Highly recommend.)
I’m familiar. I like Winston better than the American guy, who's kinda spastic. I was originally a serpentza fan

I sort of agree. Winston hits a little harder but at least it gives him someone to riff with. I wish they were more popular, if the average US citizen would break from tiktoks mind slavery they might learn real things about China..

Winston has the maxed out back story, too, and in his solo videos he tries to explain things with enough depth that you get a better picture and understand the “why” better. Overall I feel like he has better credibility.

I also like Lei’s Real Talk. She comes off as a broadly knowledgeable person in general, with a depth of understanding in a large area of geopolitical topics.

Nigger moments and chimpouts will always be a lingering inevitability as long as nobody does what Lincoln wanted to do after the ACW and deports the entire Afro-American population to Liberia.

That said, they can be managed (and were in fact managed well enough in the late 19th to mid-20th centuries) if and only if/when whitey has broken the anti-racist conditioning. Niggers behaved themselves far more responsibly when they knew that raping & murdering random whites would not result in no punishment or even reward from society rather than getting shot by cops or lynched (with the people who put them down feeling no guilt after the fact). And that pitching Category 2+ chimpouts would not get them excused and pampered every step of the way by black supremacists & morally sick libshit degenerates trying to usher in the BNWO but rather result in them being massacred and their ghettoes burnt to the ground by the honkeys' retaliation (ie. the Tulsa massacre, where no less a proggy source than Wikipedo now has to consneed that white newspapers didn't actually use inflammatory headlines calling people to lynch niggers; that blacks started the whole clusterfuck by showing up in armed mobs when the whites were calming down, with the initial outburst of violence killing 10 whites and 2 blacks; and that there's in fact no evidence whatsoever to support the fantastical accusation by supposed eyewitnesses that the National Guard flew bombers against the niggers).

Of course there were still times when niggers would be niggers, but whites used such instances as the time & place to make an example rather than bending over backwards to accommodate the chimpout and self-flagellate, and society was far better off for it. Recall that it was during the so-called 'Nadir of American Race Relations' (so basically, history up until 1965) that present-day shitholes like Detroit, Los Angeles (and in fact California in general), Baltimore and Chicago were top-notch cities and the envies of the world. Perhaps they can be again, if the white man ever rediscovers his spine in full.

For further clarification: China Observer, alongside other channels like China Deep Dive and China Insights, are heavily associated with Falun Gong. C-Milk and Winston of ADVChina/Laowhy86/SerpentZA/Xiaban Hou fame generally don't disagree with what those outlets put out, but it must be said that Falun Gong's aggressive hateboner toward the CPC and shilling their distorted idea of "traditional Chinese culture" skews their videos more toward doomsaying and sensationalism than actual coverage of facts.

Apple could easily make the iPhone in the US but Tim Cook wasted a trillion dollars building factories in China and the sunk cost fallacy has been keeping them there.
The recent video (not sure when recorded) that's going around of him is infuriating. He goes on about the great tooling and material engineers they have in China and how there are very few people of that caliber in the US so they have to be made in China. I'm like that's because you fired everyone in the US and there was never a pathway for people to become those in the US.

You open up here and we will have those people and skills again. It won't be tomorrow, but those people in China didn't suddenly appear overnight either.

What's even worse about that is that when Apple first started to make the iPhone in China, THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY SUPPLY CHAIN OR SKILLED LABOR. Apple invested billions of dollars (now probably close to a trillion) to BUILD China's phone manufacturing capability FROM SCRATCH.
