How about we drop this line of conversation less this thread further devolves into more gender war spergering.
Hey thanks Endless Torment, I'm sure everyone'll fuckin listen to you

Ironically the creation of a girl gamer subreddit implies that women were making their own space in a predominantly male hobby, instead of "invading male spaces"
Unfortunately the sub had allowed for male posters since its creation, and a tranny joined the mod team in 2011. If only they had discriminated against men more. This is all meaningless anyways considering being exclusionary to trannies on reddit gets your sub shut down regardless, now.
the only sure 100% biological women on reddit are the e-girls advertising their onlyfans or the ones in pooner subs, everyone else claiming to be female on reddit i don't believe.

If Indians of all people make first contact, we are 100% getting ourselves invaded
10,000 years ago india's finest shaman saw vision of gaylien and ordered each and every saar to start shitting on eachother, in result creating cosmic deterrant to ensure mankind won't go extinct,

ponder the aroma emitted by planet to cosmic space sensors :tomgirl:

Almost every major subreddit these days has little to do with its name, and is only anti-Trump, anti-Musk, or somehow political. That goes for, for example, /r/therewasanattempt, /r/facepalm, /r/publicfreakout, well, except, a recent post to that last one seems to actually be a public freakout:
View attachment 7205464
This could be staged of course, but some lunatic screaming obscenities and Nazi accusations at some guy for wearing a Trump hat does fit the subreddit.

But here are several top comments (there are 2000+ comments, so this is only a sample):

They are supporting the guy following and harassing somebody walking the street. Isn't the purpose of the subreddit to mock freakouts, not celebrate them?

Of course, in true Reddit fashion, no distinction is made between Trump supporters and Nazis. Indeed, commenters who defend the victim are themselves called Nazis. Example:

Also, lots of [Removed by Reddit], probably calls for escalation to violence.
These people are so insufferable and blind that it's infuriating.

Maybe I’m just speaking nonsense right now, but is it accurate to say that autism is a condition that largely affects other people too? Caring for a deeply autistic child frequently drives caretakers to suicide because the difficulties are everywhere, constant, and in many cases neverending. Don’t they have any sympathy for the people they rely on to accommodate them?
The thing is that they don't know what a serious case of autism or mental illness in general looks like. Their image of mental illness is defined by self-diagnosed posers on social media and the occasional high-functioning person who makes the news. The deeply autistic children who need 24/7 care and will never be able to leave the house on their own do not exist in their minds.

I would’ve honestly thought these people would hate Amber Herd, if only because of the fact that her antics water down the testimony and experiences of actual domestic abusive victims.
No, because then they would have to admit they got fooled by Heard and her lies. A large reason why they get invested in these sorts of cases is because the establishment tends to lean on "believe women" so they get to be morally righteous. If Heard was wrong, then they're wrong by extension and can't use her case as a bludgeon in gay internet slapfights.
Yeah that's why I'm keeping off posting on A&H since it's been overran. Can't imagine how bad it's on reddit.
The US Politics thread has just been non-stop whining from Chinese and Europeans, it's pretty funny.

There's a funny phenomenon that came out of the social justice-y trends of "centering x-voices and lived experiences" when applied to disabilities and disability advocates. It's a really obvious paradox when you think about it, especially when it comes to autism- the people most severely affected by autism literally can't speak or communicate for themselves; so the loudest, most put together, "respectable" communicators around autism tend to be those with the mildest forms of autism.

It's part of what Freddie deBoer called "The Gentrification of Disability".
I thought of that mother when I read about the recent cancelation of an academic panel at Harvard. It seems a panel of experts was slated to speak on the subject of how best to help those with autism. But as they planned to speak about treatment, about treating autism as a hindrance to be managed, the event was decried as “violently ableist” by Harvard activists and swiftly shut down. It’s worth looking at the petition that was organized as part of this effort. One part reads

Autism is a neurodevelopmental and neurobiological disability that is not treatable or curable. It is not an illness or disease and most importantly, it is not inherently negative. Autistic people at Harvard and globally have advocated in the face of ableism to defend ourselves from such hateful, eugenicist logic.
This is, I think, nonsensical. It asserts that autism is a disability, a dis-ability, but also that it’s not an illness, a disease, or inherently negative. But the very concept of disability depends on the notion that disabilities are inherently negative. If they are not in some sense disabling, the term has no meaning. What’s more, the entire moral and legal logic that underpins the concept of reasonable accommodation - the affordances we make for people with disabilities, mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act - depends on the idea that these things are both unchosen and harmful. If they’re not, then there’s no communal obligation to accommodate them. What would they even need accommodation for?

More, though, I cannot comprehend the arrogance of the woman who led the charge against the panel at Harvard, Kris King, to sit on her perch at the most exclusive university in the world and declare for the entire autistic community what autism is and means. It’s unsurprising that she’s disdainful of the need for treatment, given that she’s so high-functioning that she’s flourishing at an Ivy League university. She will never live the life that mother I knew lived. She will likely never care for someone whose autism has devastated them, robbed them of their ability to have conventional human relationships, to have a career, to be in love. Such debilitated people and their families will never have the cultural influence of a self-promoting Harvard student and so they’re simply read out of the conversation. Meanwhile autism activists and advocates make sweeping pronouncements about the lives of people they don’t know and could never understand.
It's especially silly when lots of "autism advocates"/discourse online seemed to be explicitly anti-gatekeeping to the point where even needing a formal diagnosis is "gatekeeping" because medical costs in the USA (another ironic twist being that nobody needs to be a doctor to see that someone with severe autism is disabled, but of course these arguments were always made for "quirky" people self-diagnosing themselves for a personality trait to put in their tumblr or twitter bios.

Blocked and Reported also did an episode along these lines talking about how self-proclaimed "neurodiversity advocates" often campaign against policies that are specifically in place for people with severe autism, because they find it insulting or distasteful that it would be associated with "their" condition- things like state-supported sub-minimum wage jobs that allow severely disabled people to work in their community and contribute with their time instead of sitting at home or in a care facility, or laws that grant extensive legal custody over people with severe autism which allow police and other emergency workers to assist when people are reported missing by their caretakers.

We've talked pretty extensively about this subject in this thread but the way Donald Trump and other political shit is forced into subreddit's that are completely unrelated to politics really does annoy me. There is a great sub called /r/tooktoomuch which is a collection of videos of people high on drugs or super drunk and the top post right now is two hillbillies dancing with a cardboard cutout of Trump just having fun. The comments are as smug and nauseating as you would imagine.

The last comment encapsulates everything I hate about redditors. Smarmy, sarcastic in an “I’m better than you” way, and topped off with a “happy cake day”. Pure faggotry.
These are the people who get high off their own ego. I can imagine them passing a group of young White kids jamming and intrude how without Black people rock music wouldn't exists so therefore they're culture vultures. Like you must have a depressing life if you can't just enjoy life without having to judge other people because you're guilty for being White and somehow Black people would applaud you as an "anti-racists".

Comments like that one actually make me want to haterape one of these redditors. I would lock a redditor in a chastity cage, throw the key away and then force them to watch interracial porn, so that their cock would try to grow erect in the cage and felt excruciating pain. Then I would forcefully push a Bad Dragon horse dildo into the redditor and overwrite every ounce of their leftover masculinity, brainwashing them into a hungry anal cockslut. Then I would force the redditor to wear comically undersized female lingerie and invite a pack of sexually frustrated niggers to take out their frustrations. Then I would collect money from the satisfied niggers, put a buttplug inside the redditor and force them to attend an MRI scan. I can only hope this will happen to every one of these smug redditors.
