Almost every major subreddit these days has little to do with its name, and is only anti-Trump, anti-Musk, or somehow political. That goes for, for example, /r/therewasanattempt, /r/facepalm, /r/publicfreakout, well, except, a recent post to that last one seems to actually be a public freakout:

This could be staged of course, but some lunatic screaming obscenities and Nazi accusations at some guy for wearing a Trump hat does fit the subreddit.

They are supporting the guy following and harassing somebody walking the street. Isn't the purpose of the subreddit to mock freakouts, not celebrate them?
Of course, in true Reddit fashion, no distinction is made between Trump supporters and Nazis. Indeed, commenters who defend the victim are themselves called Nazis. Example:
