Yes!!! of all the munchies to profile I’m so glad they went with the psychotic drug addict McCastor.

She was a great cow but I think she is legitimately psychotic, and of course strung out, so she really faded off in recent years. From the doco clips it would seem the anti-psychotics have slowed her roll, which probably why they used her.

I recently had the misfortune of stumbling across my very own wild munchie specimen. This one appears to be besties with none other than used car lot inflatable Allison Tennyson–and is constantly hovering in her comments like a sad little barnacle, desperate for a crumb of attention, some ego-stroking, or maybe just a gold star for Grade-A Munching.

Lately, she’s been on what can only be described as a manic scavenger hunt for proof of her ailments, breathlessly directing viewers to comb through her vast TikTok “archives”—because nothing says “very sick” like curating a Netflix-sized library of oversharing. I was perfectly fine watching this trainwreck from the shadows, popcorn in hand, until she blessed us all with a TikTok Live meltdown brandishing said “files,” climaxing in a dramatic flourish of grabbing her allegedly anguished cooch and flashing a floppy boob. Twice. Because once just wasn’t enough humiliation for one morning.

So now we all get to marinate in secondhand cringe. I give you: The Rad Zebra—the mascot of munchie mayhem.

For the past few days, she’s been in full-blown meltdown mode over her precious “files,” ranting nonstop about how the haterzzzz simply must read them to truly understand her deep, tortured soul. In a stunning display of chaotic energy, she went live to “organize” these sacred documents—while admitting to riding a ketamine high straight into the stratosphere.

What followed was a fever dream of scattered papers, disjointed muttering, and a complete inability to hold a coherent thought for more than a nanosecond. And because no trainwreck is complete without some involuntary exhibitionism, she managed to flash that saggy teet twice (in different shirts mind you!). As if that weren’t enough, she has “painful lipomas” in her crotch and spent a wildly uncomfortable chunk of the livestream massaging her vulva for “relief.”

Truly, it was munchie theater at its most unhinged—an absolute masterclass in attention-seeking.

The Rad Zebra or Christi Nicole (née Baldwin) Mercer—formerly gracing us as Christi Barker, because why settle on one name when you can rebrand like a failed MLM rep—is a 54—whoops! Sorry, she’s FORTY-FIVE year-old married woman currently haunting the sunny swamps of Clearwater, Florida with her long-suffering husband, Steven Mercer.

Christi occasionally drops references to stepchildren and foster kids like she’s collecting bonus points in some tragic backstory Olympics, though at present, there’s no evidence she’s actually fostering anyone other than her own delusions. Born on August 10, 1979—somewhere, allegedly—she claims to be a military brat, a former service member, and both of her husbands happened to serve in the Air Force as well. As for employment? Blink and you’ll miss it. She tosses out a vague mention of a cleaning biz and a brush with enlistment—Air Force, presumably, stationed at Whiteman AFB—but don't expect a resume. That’s not the focus. Her social media mission is crystal clear: convince the world she’s a walking medical marvel wrapped in tragedy and trauma.There is one photo of her in an “ARMY” PT shirt where she claims college ROTC, however in comparison with her other claims of being a lifelong fattie, it is unlikely she was able to clear the physical exams required to enlist in the actual Air Force. On the off chance she managed to pass a physical exam, given the military’s notoriously zero-tolerance stance on malingering, it’s certain she would’ve been booted the moment they laid eyes on our very special, one-of-a-kind zebra. No amount of TikTok theatrics would’ve made it past basic training.

She tells us she was briefly married to Matthew Barker, a man whose only notable contribution to her narrative is the stomach-churning tale of her sucking her own menses off his dick after smeguals. Yes, that’s a thing she chose to share. On video. Because boundaries are for the weak.

Post-Matthew, enter Steven Mercer: her gallant “Caregiver in Shining Armor.” Like his predecessor, he was also stationed at Whiteman. He filed for divorce from his previous wife in November 2014, finalized it in August 2015, and then bolted down the aisle with Christi a lightning-fast 71 days later. Romantic? Maybe. Suspicious? Absolutely.

Fun fact! Not long after Christi scored her hEDS diagnosis, Steven—at the ripe age of 44—somehow also ends up diagnosed with male infertility, hEDS and auDHD. What a coincidence. It’s suspected this medical revelation conveniently came after his exit from the Air Force, since a hEDS diagnosis is an automatic disqualifier and would’ve booted him straight out of active duty. After their nuptials, Christi’s online presence goes quiet for a while—probably plotting her next dramatic pivot—and a few years pass in blessed silence before the circus kicks up again.

From a careful review, it is clear Christi’s social media accounts are her main stage. Her days are full, navel gazing and being the SHE- EO Girl BOSS (CEO) of her illnesses/body, as referenced in TikTok posts. Her social media analysis will be clustered into two sections Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Tiktok.

Christi’s first known social media was Facebook and later Instagram. The majority of social media presence is her account and the community she has built on Tiktok. Despite the large following and bulk of her bullshit taking place on tiktok, our initial focus will be on Facebook and Instagram. Just as is the case with all main characters, there is an origin story. And here, on these two accounts we witness the birth of who we now know as, The Rad Zebra- advocate, survivor, educator, warrior. The narrative evolves to include every major domain: physical, emotional, neurological, and social—forming a fully constructed “sick identity.”

Posting for the Zeeb started as early as December 2020 on Facebook however she did not start posting about any of her illnesses until October 4, 2022 (Facebook) & September 23, 2023 (Instagram). It was clear from the beginning of Christi’s posting on Facebook that she was posting about Endometriosis and was attempting to get information out to her “friends/following audience” through her posts, and information about the disease.

In May of 2023 Christi posted a selfie with Dr. Karen Herbst (endocrinologist) at Total Lipedema Care in Flagstaff, Arizona. This cash-only appointment was a gateway for Christi and opened the door to her full-time job as a Medical Malingerer. She was diagnosed with Dercums disease, MCAS, lipedema, and lympedema. She was also gained a referral to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, Florida where she was subsequently diagnosed with hEDS in August of 2023.

From October 2022 until roughly the end of June 2023 Christi post’s were endo related however around July 2023 was when things went from 0 to about 100 and escalated rather quickly. For reasons that were never explained, Christi shaved her head nearly to the scalp. She published these photos without explanation. Comment threads lacked reason and context was not available. Christi never addressed her shaved head despite posting numerous photos of herself nearly bald and nearly bald wearing a bandana. Years later this event would be explained that her hair “hurt” and she “just wanted to”. She recycles this photo over the next 18 months and pairs it with vague language (example: it was worse than I thought) to induce worry and concern with her audience. Her instagram posting was sporadic during this time with peppered regrowth photos and other states of shaved head photos.

By August 2023, Christi completed her full metamorphosis into THE RAD ZEBRA—a chronic illness caricature wrapped in zebra print and medical jargon. That month marked her dramatic debut into the world of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, MCAS, POTS, and ME/CFS, which, of course, all magically appeared at once like a grab bag of trendy diagnoses. She even name-dropped the book DISJOINTED like she was doing academic research, rather than building a more convincing character sheet for her fantasy roleplay.

Her medical pilgrimage centered around Jacksonville and Clearwater, Florida—because naturally, she gravitated toward the most legitimizing zip codes in the rare disease industrial complex. For now, her specialists are strictly in Clearwater, but don’t worry, we haven’t reached that chapter of the melodrama yet.

In October 2023, Christi gleefully posed with her shiny new DMV Disabled placard like it was a backstage pass to a concert. The caption? A gem: “Didn’t think I’d join the club at 44, but hey—front row parking for doctor’s appointments is woo woo!” Woo woo, indeed. The rest of 2023 is a bland parade of awareness ribbons, zebra emojis, and self-congratulatory nonsense. Nothing of substance—just noise.

Then came 2024, and Zeeb launched into the year with all the subtlety of a freight train. January alone boasted 31 medical appointments—because nothing screams wellness quite like a healthcare bender. She gleefully posted a selfie outside her personal heaven on Earth: Mayo Clinic, aka Munchie Mecca. Check-ins, selfies, tours, reviews—you name it, she posted it. Mayo was her brand now. That is, until it wasn’t.

By October 2024, her fairy tale with Mayo soured. Dr. Cagnemi, a gastroenterologist with the audacity to suggest a gut-brain connection, was swiftly accused of medical trauma and gaslighting. Because when you’re a professional faker, nothing threatens the narrative more than someone implying it might be psychosomatic. No, no. It must be a rare, obscure, devastating illness no one else understands.

February 2024 brought more plot twists. Suddenly, she claimed she’d been subluxing for 44 years—a miraculous revelation for someone who never mentioned it before. Around the same time, she began an astronomically expensive antibiotic treatment that she claimed risked additional hearing loss. How much debt poor Steven has racked up bankrolling this medical cosplay empire remains unknown, though it’s worth noting they have full military healthcare. Yet, somehow, it’s always the boutique, cash-only clinics that just so happen to “believe” her.

Through winter, she dislocated her hips, her wrists, even had a collapsing foot moment. She also began ketamine infusions with Dr. Ashraf Hanna in Clearwater—because what better treatment for Lyme, CRPS, and Dercum’s Disease (naturally) than heavy psychedelics administered under the guise of medicine?

In a particularly melodramatic moment, she declared that being disabled at 44 is “like grieving a death.” Not that this grief stopped her from announcing a big move to Clearwater in April 2024, where her doctors, ketamine, and drama would be within reach. But in true Rad Zebra fashion, the move came at a cost—her elderly cat, one of four animals, had to be rehomed. Sacrificed, really. Because when the munchie mission calls, nothing—not finances, not family, not even an old cat—is safe from being collateral damage.

In July she and husband relocated closer to Clearwater, and on July 15, 2024 Christi had cranked out 3 appointments where she confirmed Nutcracker Syndrome. Two days later Christi shared with her followers the constant pain she feels and how exhausting it is hearing people tell her how great she looks and how brave she is despite her needing many surgeries. Situations such as that can be very awkward for her looking so good on the outside but Christi suffers inside.

At the end of July 2024, Christi proudly celebrated her so-called *fourth* year of sobriety from alcohol—the same day she also joked that there’s apparently no part of her body that *isn’t* hypermobile. Cute. But let’s hit pause here, because this triumphant sobriety claim doesn’t quite hold up under even the slightest scrutiny—especially not Christi’s own version of her medical history.

According to her beloved “files,” she mentions relapsing after having her right ovary removed… which she claims happened either in 2020 *or* July 2021. Yes, she’s listed *two* different years for the same ovary, which is concerning on its own. But more importantly, that little detail muddies the waters around her sobriety timeline. Convenient.

In her “Sobriety” playlist on TikTok, she boldly states her recovery began in 2015 and conveniently omits any mention of her confirmed relapses in 2018 and again in either 2020 or 2021—whichever version of reality we’re going with today. For someone who’s self-styled as a recovery advocate, it’s more than a little disingenuous to be touting a decade of sobriety while glossing over multiple relapses.

And if July 2021 *is* the correct surgery date? Then that shiny “four years sober” milestone she just celebrated is completely, unequivocally false. But hey, what’s a few fudged dates in the grand performance?

In January 2025, similar to the year prior, Christi continued her new found tradition of reflection over the number of appointments had. She stated per her that in the year 2023 she had over 400 medical appointments and 2024 she had over 300.

Oh, TikTok—where Christi's already-questionable behavior takes a nosedive straight into the absurd. After a single lonely post in 2022 and a whopping five in 2023, something truly unhinged happens on April Fools’ Day 2024 (fitting, right?). From that point on, she starts spamming the platform like it’s a full-time job—with benefits—posting almost daily, skipping only 15 out of 104 days. Then, because apparently moderation is a foreign concept, she launches into a streak on July 14 that’s still going as of today. That’s over 280 consecutive days of content. Not rest. Not reflection. Just... content.

But wait, it gets worse. Only 18 of those days featured fewer than two videos. Her high score? An eye-watering 29 videos in a single day. On average, she’s posting 8 times daily. Eight. Every day. Let that sink in.

• Got married and had stepson September 2015
• 2015 - 2022 Saw Bruce Fletcher. Prescribed Cymbalta. Following year diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Prescribed antipsychotics; symptoms continued to ebb and flow/got worse. Stopped medication in 2022 after beginning hormone replacement therapy and being re-tested (ptsd not bipolar)

• Pelvic, arm, back and hand pain and weakness; tested for carpal tunnel found only mild, quit cleaning business for health; GI and Gyno issues worsened

• Prescribed progesterone and Agystrin; had sever [sic] reaction to both medications

• Relapse before thyroid diagnosis/panic attacks/ severe depression for over two months straight/attempted suicide with benzos, got sober three months later
• Diagnosed with Hashimotos ER visit for severe panic attack and continuing severe depression (followed up with endocrinologist who dismissed when I asked to run all the test for thyroid symptoms, of thinning hair, cold intolerance, marble patterning on legs) only offered levothyroxide [sic]

2019

• Saw endocrinologist for Hashimoto's symptoms - asked for more labs denied; got primary to order them but still didn’t change anything. Kept on Levothyroxine and dry skin, cold intolerance, fatigue continued. [Editor’s note: Persists until present day]

2020

• Relapse after R. ovary removal got sober the next day to currently tested positive 48 hours after drinking on alcohol breathalyzer test)

41 - 45 Years | 2021 - 2025

2021

• July 2021 - Relapse 2 months after right ovary removed [claims R. ovary removed in 2020 and 2021] (estrogen patch was offered, hormone replacement was not offered, rapid mood cycling, severe forgetfulness) migraines began ( several drugs tried referred to Botox later that year, have continued since.
• Fall 2021 - Painful large lump on bottom right foot/ scans done/diagnosed with ledderhouse [sic]

2022

• Started therapy at True Joy Counseling /PTSD diagnosis/cognitive and EMDR therapy recommended
• Saw back surgeon in Missouri who suggested spinal fusion to alleviate hip pain. Pain management was used to reduce symptoms. (Got worse)
• Orthopedic Associates did imaging and injections. Recommended surgery to fix issues
• The surgeon who did the incision on stomach was consulted two weeks prior to surgery, was not concerned about adhesions.
• Dentist visit, informed teeth are cracked because of grinding and anxiety
• Mental health, True Joy Counseling, working on EMDR and CBT/trauma suggested functional medicine
• July 2022 - Starting anti-inflammatory diet/improvement of GI symptoms/still daily stomach pain and “stitch pain in four quadrants” Symptoms improved some

2023

• Asked for thyroid testing for symptoms (test came back elevated thyroid antibodies (first that test has been run to my knowledge)
• Pelvic floor therapist; dry needling, extensive damaging, could take a year. Started myofascial massage the same time. Weekly appointments for each. Suggested functional medicine.
• Began to get GI symptoms beginning of Jan/put on Bactrim for incision “infection” Went to three ER’s in 5 days, 3 CT scans, 3 misdiagnosis, continued to get worse, rapid weight loss, dehydration) diagnosed after 2.5 weeks with cdiff, put on wrong antibiotic for next week then correct one. Diarrhea and vomiting cleared up bloat and nausea got worse. Functional dr 3/9/2023 (testing for CIBO/diagnosed with thrush/running extensive blood pannel and ordered imaging of thyroid for possible goiter.
• Feb 2023 - Consulted endo doctor in Jacksonville, sent diet plan for Keto and changed hormones
• Feb 2023 - Lumps on fatty tissues, lumps on ribs, ribs tight, diaphragm is tight, lumps in abdominal cavity.
• March 2023 - GI Specialist in Destin refer to nutritionist, take home CIBO test follow up, in two months/ brought records spent less than ten minutes with me

• March 2023 - Dr Chavers (functional doctor Destin) PCM/ ordered full panel of labs, thyroid ultrasound, diagnosed sibo/sifo, changed thyroid meds and dosage, diagnosed lipomas, elimination/lowfodmap [sic] diet with supplements, follow up in 6 weeks
• March 2023 - contracted covid after candida/sibo treatment began, middle ear infection, ketosis (ER and urgent care visit) consulted Dr. Chavers office before starting antibiotics, started a script cdiff friendly from their office.
• March 2023 - began infra red [sic] sauna 2xweek; referral for acupuncture, iv, and vitamin supplements
• March 2023 - ENT FT. Walton; 1st visit eardrops and cleaned ear out, discussed not taking antibiotics unless necessary, hearing test (loss right ear) 2nd visit for CT scan; referred to Neurologist for myofacial [sic] pain said sinuses are not the problem, called back and follow up with ENT Dr again in April

• Rope in the medically qualified family to work in your clinic. Cheap labour. Also circle of silence when things inevitably go wrong.
• Lay it on thick with the munchies. Tell them you know that it's not all in their head, even though you know it's all in their fucking heads. They'll think you're heaven sent.
• Use a mix of jargon and layman's terms so there's just enough for the munchies to be dazzled by your brilliance, but also feel they know what you're talking about.
• Diagnose everyone with the same thing, and call it supermegarare. Bonus diagnose patients with the combo platter if not already.

I hadn't seen anyone else mention him so I thought he was like Mariana Castells in Boston who used to take these girls at face value before this trend really blew up but now refers them to psych. Guess i was wrong.

In May of 2023 Christi posted a selfie with Dr. Karen Herbst (endocrinologist) at Total Lipedema Care in Flagstaff, Arizona. This cash-only appointment was a gateway for Christi and opened the door to her full-time job as a Medical Malingerer. She was diagnosed with Dercums disease, MCAS, lipedema, and lympedema. She was also gained a referral to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, Florida where she was subsequently diagnosed with hEDS in August of 2023.
