1. The founder was and is based in Russia.

This just reminded me of how quotable HA is. It's like Siege in that regard, however in Siege's case Mason wrote it in the context of the 1980's Reagan era and was still clinging on to the 1960's and 70's, and took himself a bit too seriously. HA is so hard to describe for normies because to understand it you have to go into it knowing that Ma is self-aware or at least comes off as self-aware, coupled with the unconventional structure.
Like the time he describes New York and all the hipsters in it, or when he talks about violence and looks, or more appropriately: Aesthetic, and using ISIS as an example. There's also the chapter where he talks about how everything he said is too similar to something already wrote, with the highlight of it being "If I sung it from a window in Paris, I'd be called a faggot." Both the serious and jokey lines are quotable, the latter for their philosophical tones and their critique of the modern world, and the latter for simply being funny and the implicit critique of the modern world.
There are times where the line between Ma's thoughts and the satire elements are blurred, like every time he talks about "i don't habs girfren", then again he does dedicate a chapter of the book to being exhausted of 20+ years of insincerity and irony-poisoning. The random chapters where he doesn't talk about politics at all feel out of place but then again that's intended with how the book is structured. Pretty good read if you can steel yourself against the nihilism and defeatism within it.

That is the one issue I have with AWD currently in the mod, Siege is about the need for the "system" to collapse so that true political change can happen and if AWD unites America they accomplished not only that but have become the new ruling power. Maybe that could be a path for The Base if the devs want to keep AWD as the crazy end the world path.

On topic of James Mason. I remember from an old TFR server discussion a user showed these clips from an old radio interview of James Mason from back during the 90s and a more recent inter with the same radio host in more recent times. Does anyone here clips from both by chance?

The Base tried to unify the two sides of the 2016-18 fringe right into one by taking the secessionist/bioregionalist talking points from Harold Covington's Northwest Front and smashing it together with SEEJ aesthetics, ironically bringing both sides together to disavow them. Its odd that a self proclaimed Northwest Front group had all their larger cells outside of it and they were not trying to get guys moved, make of that what you will.

Hurrold was probably the cattiest NS leader of his time. Although his NWF's pretty much only other member was porn star and later islam convert Corinna "Axis Sally" Burt. That was the interview he did with Evangelical Bob Larson. In the Original interview Mason clearly knows that no matter what he says, Larson will ignore it and continue to just attack him. Agreed and this is something people forget, if a Person is willing to use extreme violence and or is desiring to do so. We've already had one shooter put TFR in their manifesto, ironic or not, and people trying to recruit for/promote their fringe schizocow political movements using the mod's server, it's not going to get better with time.

Personally, I'd shut down TFR discord and move development onto a proper, public facing-forum that will filter mobile babies. No DMs, no secret channels or subforums - if you can say something in private it can be said in public.

Sure, but what constitutes drive and capability is so pliable that this is a virtually worthless distinction to make, and I think this logic is just fundamentally bad. You could say the same thing about 764's victims; they all had the drive and capability to be camwhores, cutters and suicides on their own before 764, so they were destined to act on that and the satanic pedos just expedited the process instead of inciting it. They hated the Dark aesthetics and stuff of AWD, A lot of the old shitposts i remember from them would always portray themselves as basically just the NSM in terms of Larp but based in Cascadia. They also of course took every chance they could get to smear Atomwaffen, Including highlighting the O9A stuff (Which we know now from Former Members such as those who make articles on the American Futurist that Quite a lot of guys didn't want those weirdos anywhere near their shit, With people like Cameron John Denton apparently later converting to Christianity. You also got people Like Vex, who i'm pretty sure was Mixed raced anyway who called out the O9A stuff.)

Point being, The Ludwig tards from my memory were basically just grifting off the Shitshow that Atomwaffen was turning into.
