I really think he's only playing Disco Elysium because a video went viral a few months ago with the Lorry Driver. Pathetic of him to always say he's enjoying the game when he isn't. He should play Kenshi. Its like Disco Elysium without the words.

Also I have a personal "non issue". Why does he not put his PC specs in the description of his vids/streams? Thats something a lot of streamers do I think especially if they're proud of the build.
Kenshi would be hilarious
"WHAT THE FUCK I'M A SLAVE?!!!"

So the key to Phil's undeniable success is the fact he streams 2 hours of 4 different genre of game in 2 days. Really makes you think if every other streamer is just some book smart idiot bitch streaming a singular game for 8-12 hours a day, each day.

Think of how massive Moist or Asmon would be if they played just an hour here and there of a completely random mish mash of titles, instead of grinding games.

But then again, all those streamers also do hang out sessions where they look at things the fans post or check out viral videos instead of hangout streams that are solely about how the streamer is going to beg today, how he begged yesterday, and what his beg goals are for the week. Think of all the profits and developing their business that they are missing out on with these failed ideas they ALL do.

Thank goodness for Phil, at least there is one smart, savvy streamer who knows what good content is. The People's Streamer.

Ohhh! So THAT'S why what Phil does isn't "begging".

Phil isn't a beggar because "begging is when you sit on the street, with nothing to offer society and you shake a cup and you say 'Alms! Alms for the poor!' I'm not a poor, okay? I'm not. I make a good living."

Thanks for clearing that up Phillip.

Edit: Phil REALLY fucking hates the Japanese, huh? Phil has to be the only person outside of China that hates the Japanese this much.

I just heard that bullshit podcast. Now there are two ways taht I, personally, would handle playing Disco Elysium.
1. If you as a buisiness owner see that only one guy is paying for your... """""product""""" maybe its safe to say it isn't viable. Maybe don't put yourself in a situation where your night depends on if the only person supporting it has the funds that day. What if an emergency comes up and they can't swing by?

2. For me I feel like it isn't fair to depend on a sole contributer. If you know that this person legitamately likes the game perhaps the best course would be to do the stream without the expectation of hitting the goal. Give your audience a break and do a solid for that guy who obviously wants the game to continue.

But hey. Thats just me. I guess I have a soul that isn't being consumed by abject greed.

Thank goodness there's no more drama these days and we can go back to my favourite meaningful DSP content.
That's right! Aimlessly wondering back and forth flipping switches on and on off while staring slack-jawed at his chat waiting for someone to tell him what to do in a puzzle game.

I wonder if he was to start streaming today without any of his 15 year history and all the ironic/hate viewers and extremely bizarre band of ardent "own the trolls" supporters, what his organic viewer count would be? I really struggle to imagine more than 5 people on the entire planet finds this content entertaining.

Phil was employing the might of the dent enigma codecracker army to solve this puzzle on stream. The only issue was that he had 2 letters too many to fit the password and the letters he had collected and displayed were for a completely different puzzle later on. We could have quite literally been here playing retard scrabble for 2 hours but some attention starved Youtube loser alerted Phil that he was wasting his time.

That's the exact business model that casinos and coca cola and fast food and WWE Champions use.
It's time tested and it works, you only need to cater to that 1% retard customer base to fund the rest of the business.

Currently this guy is averaging ~200 viewers, right? Or something therabouts? How many of them are even unironic fans? And he's expecting $100k+ for this per year. It's so far off from any kind of normal human experience.
I doubt anyone will agree with me, but I think it's fair to count at least some of the restreamer views. Just consider that most streamers don't have restreamers to syphon off their views. So some other terrible streamer will have a certain number of people who don't like them and would never donate to them and are forced to give them views because a restream doesn't exist.

His $ per view is still absurd either way due to his incessant begging, but he still has a lot of people who watch him obsessively. But his $ per viewer isn't as insane if you consider some of the restreamers.
