Because making American workers work in factories for twice or five times the minimum wage would force them to take a huge hit to their profits, and if that happens, the shareholders leave, and take their money with them.

The USSR reindustrialized easily because the State told them to do so, there were no private shareholders holding the CEO's balls, because the State had the factory owner's balls in its vice grip, and it wasn't letting go. That, and they had all the capitalists liquidated along with the Russian Royal Family. If we tried to do that socialist industrialization here, all the rich idiots that Trump tried to butt-kiss, the people he gave trillion-dollar tax breaks to? Good in the here and now, but long term they're really proving the point of why this shift needs to be done. Any trade partner over a long enough period of time will have disputes and conflicts, both trade and non-trade in nature. If you're permanently beholden to their cooperation for something, then you are in a bad place. Ideally, you have a domestic baseline, and foreign trade is a surplus/nice to have.

I had the radio on today in my car while running errands, and a station I listen to had a bit on where they had a woman talking about having an abortion when getting pregnant out of wedlock when she was young. She started sobbing during telling her story. I felt very uneasy and horrid listening to it, like I was either going to get sick or pass out listening to it.

In nature, a mother bird will even sacrifice her life to prevent her eggs from being scathed in a forest fire. Meanwhile, a human woman will end her unborn child's life since she sees it as an inconvenience to her hedonistic lifestyle. On a more political note, I was talking to a friend in South Korea, and according to him; ever since Trump got elected, there has been a lot more talk about him and U.S. policies in general (understandably) compared to Biden from Korean television news (although I doubt his claim that it matches local/Korean news in coverage). He couldn't tell me if it was positive or negative though, he says he wasn't paying that much attention and was really only basing it on how much he heard their names.

Ian Carroll became "famous" on TikTok with videos explaining how food in the grocery store is all made by a handful of companies and some of the ingredients are unhealthy. I only noticed him recently because he was on Joe Rogan.

I assume neither is friends with Big Pharma or Big Slop. They say they want RFK Jr to do the reforms he wants. That would make them "allies" of RFK Jr. Owens and Carroll would be Concern Trolling if they are only pretending to care and actually want RFK Jr to fail.

They claim to have info from people RFK Jr worked with about sex related skeletons he has in his closet (Ian Carroll: "typical of a Kennedy"). They think RFK Jr is blackmailed by Rabbi "buttplug" Shmuley over something sexual. The buttplug references are due to him promoting his daughters Israeli made sex products:

In the Candace Owens and Ian Carroll video they both seem confident RFK Jr is blackmailed, and that it will limit what reforms RFK Jr can get done. Ian Carroll explains he recently heard Bret Weinstein explain blackmail can seem like friendship (tl;dr: "I'll cover that up for you bro"). They talk about media being less censored now. Ian Carroll mentions Gamer Gate, and Candice Owens recalls that's how she started going down rabbit holes. Then talk about centralized control vs decentralized freedom. Then they doubt if Trump is "America First" or if he changed “after Miriam Adelson wrote that $100 million check to him.” After an ad break, Ian Carroll says this kind of blackmail has always been going on throughout history, but now with the Internet more people know about it; which is a good thing. Talk about porn companies being a source of blackmail (webcam), and porn being bad for you ends the video.

I don't find it hard to believe RFK Jr is blackmailed, and Rabbi Shmuley is involved somehow. RFK Jr has to awkwardly make pro-Israel statements, and MAHA reforms are slower than you would expect. Zero real proof by anyone so far.

I also think Candace Owens and Ian Carroll want RFK Jr to succeed at MAHA reforms. So, I don't think they are Concern Trolling. I do think they were probably fed info and funded to talk about this for reasons unrelated to MAHA.

It is fairly obvious there is funding for influencers to exert pressure to stop Israel's push for war against Iran; @Catch The Rainbow would call this Qatar funding. Qatar launders money all over the place, so I don't know who all the sources of funding are; the possible list includes anyone against war with Iran. Probably similar people to those funding investigations into Bibi Netanyahu and Qatargate (news|archive).
