After reading Sharty /soy/, reddit r/4chan & KF 4chan thread I can confidently say:

- The guy that hacked 4chan absolutely punked and humiliated lazy gookmoot and paid mods by hacking the website with a PDF exploit. 4chan got touched and this definetely did not happen before, ever.
- Jannies deserve it, and they deserve to be tormented. They were fucking around too much. 4chan hired too much jannies on an already botted up consensus cracking platform with 70% bots. I was running into jannies all the time in normal discussion and if you BTFO'ed them they would ban you for 3 days.
- 4chan will come back online, but with 15 min captcha shit, no unique ip, all this fucking shit being blown into the fan with degenerate loser mods and jannies...4chan definetely won't be the same, it wasn't already but now only the bottom of the barrel will browse it

what kind of bottom of the barrel people are even left? The porn pages never update (unless it's BBC shit) /b/ is dead, being either bbc shit or that guy who ate shit, the other boards are slow as hell and never have anything new and /pol/ is more unusable than ever. I think if anything 4chan will die a slow sad death and the troons are to blame.

i dont see how 4chan will come back considering the main issue is that ancient 10,000 line PHP mess they run the site on is super vulnerable. That would require weeks of patching and judging by the technical incompetency of upper "management" (i use this term loosely) i dont think that is a feasible goal for them. Unless they defy all expectations and just reboot the site with the same PHP base lol

The most sensible thing to do would be to try and migrate the site to vichan or some other, more modern imageboard software. However, that would probably require actual hard work by an at least semi-intelligent software engineer, so idk if it'll actually happen

They could've, but there was/is a bunch of glowies, the soyteens or whatever they're called are dumb as bricks and didn't think ahead, and they're smart enough to not release more than they should such as 4chan pass details and user emails and IPs.

I mean I think the general belief was that feds were on 4chan without strict identifiers or even special janny status from 4chan.

This post kind of feels like a red herring or someway to discredit that notion by applying very strict criteria to it.

One of the things I’ve seen in this thread over the past few days is jannies always being trannies, without fail. It sounds funny but it makes sense when you really think about it.

The only people mentally ill enough to voluntarily spend all day inside cleaning up fucking 4chan boards (and deleting any thread that mildly pisses them off) are degenerate trannies with nothing better to do. Normal (by the standards of 4chan) people don’t want to spend all fucking day doing that, so only a very small and insane portion of people does.

It’s not just 4chan. That’s why I believe moderation is so fucking terrible now.

Practically any niche internet community that isn't explicitly anti-troon from the outset is doomed to be inundated with them. The default bulk standard ruleset for most platforms not allowing le hatespeech makes it so adequate gatekeeping against them is practically impossible, inevitably allowing these perpetually online creatures to run roughshod over whatever community they've latched onto and eventually making it more about themselves than whatever it was centered around in the first place. All of this can be prevented as long as you're allowed to tell them to fuck off the moment they rear their ugly mannish heads.
