On larger boards, off topic threads were often 100x better than the actual stated purpose of the board.I loved to post off topic on /tv/, you would unironically have the best discussions on that board. Most of my off topic was rather inoffensive stuff just not strictly related to /tv/ in the real spirit. Sometimes I would funpost and make a thread that was just barely relevant to /tv. but was really an excuse to discuss a hot button social issue like the tranny menace or brown people.
One of my IPs was permaed off /tv/ for 60 bans, which was rare usually they don't let you get that high
One of these cunts is the one who gave me a 3 day just for saying nigger even though I wasn't even being racist with it.Seeing /ck/ having three of the top five power jannies on it makes so much sense. I don't think I was ever banned on a board as often as that one.
I'm new to delving into this sort of stuff. Bear with me. I get how the mods and jannies are screwed. I get that everyone who ever browsed or posted on there is now visible by IP address.
I get that mods, jannies and name posters used emails and that those emails might be usable to identify them irl.
What I DONT get is how anonymous posters should worry if they gave no personal info in their posts, most people use a VPN or at least a dynamic IP, and there nothing anyone can really find with an IP address alone beyond a general location like city, state country etc.
As far as I can tell it's really only the people dumb enough to either not mask their IP AND chose to submit personal info.
I pity the souls who have never heard what a newpipe or a reVanced isThis thread is moving a million miles an hour but I think they view that because they use the YT app, and any adblock while using the app doesnt work, just auto skips for you.
thanks! The US Politics General thread is one of the most active on the entire site. Not really the same as /pol/ though because there's no niggerdick.
Fucking jannniggers /gif/ was unusable cesspool of boardall there to delete any non-bbc threads
uhh... have you considered lurking?Obviously I'm a newfag but what's the best way to update this thread to keep track

Is everyone on 4chan a /b/ poster, fren? Or /pol/? No?Hey I'm from 4chan and came over here while things get rectified. Kiwi is cringe and gives me heavier incel vibes, not to mention the fact that this place seems also more smug. What the fuck are you smug are you guys so smug about? You fucking avatar losers. Anyways, fuck all of you. Maybe one day you'll get some head or your asshole licked and then you can be less miserable. Later.
True, going back to Pokemon the only good threads are those OUTSIDE of /vp/, like ones on /v/ or /vg/.On larger boards, off topic threads were often 100x better than the actual stated purpose of the board.
Read the posts.Obviously I'm a newfag but what's the best way to update this thread to keep track
Ha, what? That board at any given time would have the same people using the same filenames necrobumping their own threads for like 2 weeks straight. For years. Never gets cleaned up.I don't know what you're posting on /pw/ but I rarely ever have issues with people on there, there's the occasional schizo shitting up a thread but it's nothing too bad and usually easy enough to ignore. I've certainly never been dogpiled for saying an opinion.
in /sp/ there was one brit jannie/mod combo who'd autosage our australian football general during the season, ban posters for discussing the sport and the stadiums (ie discussing a particular stadium named Marvel Stadium, was banned as it was apparently /tv/ related and therefore 'off-topic'. Jannies are fucked.can someone explain why so many people hate 4chan jannies? I mostly comment on /v/ and haven’t had any posts or threads deleted. what are jannies doing that pisses people off? the only things I’ve seen deleted were pedo stuff
Don't undersell yourself. You have skills, as proven by keeping this place alive. I think you should ask for at least $250k/yr in addition to those other benefits if you think you have even the slightest chance of getting it.$144,000/yr, minimum 1 year contract, remote work, and I want healthcare with vision and dental.
